is there any way to disable the zooming mod that allows u to scroll in windows other than the browsers? i believe that reg edit is making the hardware zoom act funny. When I am zooming the Opera browser simultaneously zoom and scrolls. I usually zoom in on links that are small, such as page numbers in a thread, and when I try to zoom in I'm forced to scroll back down to the area I was zooming in on.

Ok, after updating to a kitchen'd 1.4 rom, VVM was busted again.

I may have fubar'd it by deleting the verizon wireless profile and trying to use the My ISP profile...

ended up going through the registry, it looks like the VVM software looks for the active connection to have a DestID of {0DAEA92E-2917-4c6c-9E23-F2BCAA13DA07} as well as a couple other links.

this connection.xml file had the right settings/names that worked for me, YMMV

With the newest 6.5.3 rom when I tap the top bar I get the default drop down thing, is there a way to use the htc notification window instead? Also noticed the ## dialer codes dont work...

yeah. i have the same issue.

also. has anyone been able to get Pandora to run? i haven't had any problems with it in a long time. on the 23518 build, i get a "Debug Assertain Failed" error. which sucks because i really like pandora.

other than that (and the scrolling issue mentioned), this is a very nice rom.

Aye. Remove it from \Windows\StartUp

Also, any internet issues were resolved by selecting Verizon Wireless/#777 instead of AutoPick. Seems fine now

i noticed that as i'm trying to scroll and look at my Sdcard, the phone locks up and it takes a few minutes for it to release. haven't had that in any other rom.

also. does anyone know how to switch the volume control from a single to dual? typically there is a setting to do this but it seems to be missing (well, or i just can't find it).

Settings -> Sound & Display -> Single volume
