Re: Random Hard Resets on Custom ROMs (SEE IMAGE)

Just posting my experience incase it may help someone.

Sprint ebay touch pro 2 (could have some hidden defect).

Used mightyrom, energy rom, cfay rom, and now have caughlin 6.1 rom cause I need today agenda. Over the last couple of days I have installed two activesync accounts one for contacts and one for exchange email. Seems to be the latest thing before random hard resets and basic device locks and corruption. I also installed evernote and secondtoday. I think I will try stock rom to test.

Re: Random Hard Resets on Custom ROMs (SEE IMAGE)

i got this error for the first time, flashed [01-21-10] [ROM] MR.X WM6.5 [Build 21881] this morning and had this error happen twice throughout the day forcing me to hard-reset, have never seen it before and ive been flashing multiple roms since november.

if i relock my spl, will the unlocker ban my phone forcing me to donate? or am i safe because i used the unlocker in the past and will recognize my IMEI is the same device used in the past and allow me to unlock again?

as long as its the same phone you unlocked the first time you used the unlocker you are good to go!

Beginning to look like Activesync to me too. Had the phone connected and got two calls and it froze on both. Was ale to recover normally on the first and got some calls while disconnected but when I connected again it froze and when I pulled/reinserted the battery it came up as the hard reset.

Tried the locker but it does not run.. still researching.

<Edit> Got it to relock after I d/l another copy of the locker so we'll see what happens now. </Edit>

Re: Random Hard Resets on Custom ROMs (SEE IMAGE)

Well honestly I thought this thread was some kind of joke. I laughed at the new BSOD for windows Mobile Idea, but then it finally happened. I was having all kinds of data problems with the #777 error, and was already in the process of hard resets and installing all my apps and skipping 1 app each time (A different app each time) to see if I still got the problems. I have gotten this error twice. once on Mighty Mikes ROM and once on the Mr X 6.5 ROM. kept getting the data errors too. I finally skipped installing pegasus Dusk Theme, and GPRS Monitoring suite, and now I don't have any data errors, and I am not getting that BSOD. I am wondering if one of the kernels in the VZW ROM that alot of chefs are using now, is not compatible with some kind of code in either of these two apps. Because if I install either one, I get data errors, and the Pegasus one, is what I had my second BSOD on.

Re: Random Hard Resets on Custom ROMs (SEE IMAGE)

I got this message on my HTC Touch Pro 2 after I unlocked the radio using rhodiumw dot htc-unlocks dot com unlocker. I had the standard Sprint ROM, not a custom one, just a standard rom that comes with the phone out of the box, win6.1. Just wanted to unlock the radio so I can use a GSM chip other then sprint outside the country. When I changed the GSM chip, next day I received the exact screen. Had to hard reset. Had a backup

Well, that blew that whole theory right out the window.. Wasn't connected to A/S, phone is locked and it still reset on me today..
