i built a rom using 21898 and now some of the programs (cookie home tab editor is one) come up with the "cannot be opened. not signed or missing component" error. nothing else was changed except the build. any suggestions?

First thing to check is your .NetCF; that''s what I was missing when I got that error.

I have not been able to get past that either. Also on some of Welrope's other Bulds. I think it may have something to do with the WinCE.nls, but I still haven't figured it out.

Yeah, the dump of 21898 that i got was missing the netCF. I found it out when someone else had an issue, so i uploaded the package. You can download it from my link if need be.

There has been some confusion over this too. Basically, if your going to use my sys, delete the wince.nls from your ROM/Touch_Pro2/*****/OEMXIPKernel/

Otherwise, it could cause some issues. Or just uncheck my WinCE from the sys when building if you want to use the one from the above location

My issue with this error is too many files were being cooked into the kitchen with the same name... Search your kitchen directory for "setupdll.dll"....And destroy them all with that fancy MegaBot!

Remove any recently added packages and see if you still have the issue, also, build with a different xip/sys but with same setup and see if the issue follows.
