So, perhaps since the album cache files were built w/ 3.5, maybe 3.2 can't read them and is causing the problem?

I will have to do some experimenting and debugging this weekend, but was hoping one of you many geniuses can help me out a bit.
Actually I just checked and 3.2 albums tab isn't working for me either. Has to be the new build.

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 1-11 ][ v1.4 ][ 23518 / 21888 / 21056 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitch

I don't know what I did to my kitchen, but now I get this error that says "Device cannot determine current country. Please select country from the list" whenever I make a rom from the kitchen. To make things even wierder, the same thing happens whenever I download Calk's official rom.

It didn't do this before, so I assume that I unselected something that I shouldn't have. Anyway, does anyone know what's going on?

It's because the new verizon provisioning isn't working correctly. Here's a post that talks more about it:

That's exactly what he told me, too.

Does anyone know how to get better GPS locks? 1.33 kitchen would lock soooo fast with 10 or 11 sats, 1.4 takes a while to lock with 4 or 5 sats.

I pulled the Album 3.2 from my VGA kitchen and replaced the two modified xml files which made it VGA with those from the 3.2 in v1.4 kitchen. Been working like a champ for me. I will post it up for you guys in a bit.

Once you are in sat lock mode the ROMs have no effect on number of sats. A ROM might effect assist (and that may or may not be a problem with V1.4) but once you get a lock it's all up to the GPS receiver.

Sat conditions change all the time. There are days I get 12 and another I get 5-6 on the same ROM.

That said V1.4 has issues that effected a lot things subtly.

Re: [ Kitchen ][ 1-11 ][ v1.4 ][ 23518 / 21888 / 21056 ] Calkulin's Visual WVGA Kitch

So I finally got time to troubleshoot battery issues. So far I found the v1.33 Kitchen OEMDrivers cause a higher discharge current than the new ones from v1.4 on idle. This is using the 23518 sys. I am going to use the older kernel and see if there is any difference.

Well it looks like from what I can see with the new kernel on idle discharge current jumps all over and sometimes goes up to 400mA and then jumps back down. With the older kernel the discharge is more stable on idle, jumping to 109mA sometimes then going back down to 52mA. So I am going to stick with the old kernel for a day and see my results. I have tried 21888 sys and 23518 sys and both get similar results. This is with the brightness at 50%

Hope this helps =)

For those who want the older kernel grab it below.
