I cooked a 28005 (XIP and SYS, hope that was right) with the beta kitchen - everything seems great except I can't get my GPS to lock. Anyone run into this? I searched the forum and did not see any problems with GPS. I did choose Sprint and not All for my carrier. And took windowslive, windowsliveIm, remote desktop and market out of sys.

i have 4 people running my rom built on 21882, rock solid stable and no complaints from anyone. what are setting your pagepool at?

I have used a 0, 16, and 20mb pp and they all bombed with 21882. No problems with 21876.

dont know what to tell you then, been using the newer kitchen without a hitch since it came out and 21882 is running perfect on 4 different devices.

maybe something is corrupt in your kitchen?

It seems to get a lock in the new kitchen, it takes longer. Run quick gps, soft reset and try again. That worked for me.

I started probing the kitchen and did notice one thing that has changed. Using the old kitchen, I am not using both the the beta opera 9.7 and opera mobile 10.xx Perhaps this may be this issue. Not sure, going to give it a stab.

Sorry guys, busy weekend and I'm having a crashing problem with the provisioning app, so once I have a chance to fix it, I'll post the final kitchen

be careful of Opera 10...it zaps ram like no one's business. i also dont recommend cooking in 2 Opera's. Only 9.5 is really sold/stable, imo.

what's been changed from the test kitchen vs the final kitchen? I've been running the test kitchen since the upload...and am NOT having a single issue with it.

I did manually set up the CDMA MMS server settings...but otherwise, everything JUST works.

I did notice some display issues with several apps I tried to cook in...the enitre manila interface seems to have shifted down. The icons on the slider is cutoff by just a little bit...but enough to be annoying. I installed those cabs after the flash and there were no issues with the display.

Was wondering which vers. of MaxManila works with this build? do love having all those extra quick links...or if the 16 shrtcut tweak would work for the 28005 build?

If you cook in position fix you won't need to install any cabs post-flash to fix the display issues.

In the 1.1a kitchen, any 6.5.x ROM I cooked--with the position fix--had this shifting problem. It was wicked annoying and I thought I was doing something wrong.
