Will this kitchen have the landscape fix for 2.5 that is floating around? Please forgive me if it has been bought up or posted already

Hey Calkulin, found a newer version Opera Mobile 9.5, this is build 18152 WVGA. Not sure if you want to include it in your kitchen before final release.

I'm using the 21882 sys and it takes at least 15 minutes to get a lock with this kitchen. Ran QuickGPS and soft reset and still takes 15 min in Google Maps and Bing even after locking once before. Locks were almost instant with the 1a kitchen.

Bluetooth is great, and everything else is outstanding.

@Mal...

Can you explain a bit more about Opera 10 being a RAM hog? Is it staying active and running in the background to keep speed dial up to date?

My RAM usage is thru the roof right now...even after a soft reset...I'm sitting on the mid 70's percentage wise. Looked at the task manager...and gwes is using up about 32000kb..is that normal? where should I start looking to cut the fat? I'm not sure where in the kitchen to start trimming. Midomi, coreplayer...and all that I install after the flash independantly onto my storage card.

@Calku...

Are you familiar with TellMe? Voice to text...nice app...playing nice with a custom ROM cooked from your 1.1a kitchen. (28005 build) Might be a good addition! there is not a cab...but a .exe installer that installs from the storage card.

Mine boots at about 90MB but hovers around mid 70MB after cache. That seems to be normal. Try using MemMaid to better get an idea of CPU/RAM usage of active programs, very helpful.

Opera 10, when left running, will drain my RAM. In fact, just running it can suck about 30MB+ of memory just initially, then it seems to drain more. It's a fantastic browser, but just too memory intensive right now. Plus I like the behavior of the "custom HTC" v9.5 better.

OK, GPS in GMaps can't seem to obtain a lock on satellites. I think it's already been reported
