I cooked my rom without htc messaging selected...running latest sense 2.5...did NOT select 2.1 messaging client....selected arksoft mms....

I can apparently send and receive sms and mms without problem...wondering what the pros/cons of the htc messaging client are?

Thanks for the response however, that didn't work. I don't understand why I am the only one having issues. When I open the archive and "test" in 7zip it gives me all the same errors.

i have the cabs on my sd card.. all the colors and when i tried one i got all the icons but the speaker one.... all i got was a black square.


maybe they work cooked in?

heres what i got man...i ran some benchmarks with the same rom just the different drivers cooked in...i found the xperia x2 to run the best...that one and the omnia where the only ones that supported lights.exe....chainfire and oem didnt....but they both ran better than omnia on openGL....but overall the X2 did it for me...

I was able to restore my battery monitoring with the register edits you gave me. Thank you, the battery icon works well and I can still get online. I dont know why RyanMogul's cab changes that BaseDLL. (Maybe some phones need that somehow.)

Now my phone goes to sleep and has to be reset to get it back. That wouldnt be from the reg edit would it? (I'm on 21893 6.5 2.5 1225)

thanks captblaze, but thats exacly what i did...i got the one from calks 4.2 kitchen for the raphael which worked perfectly on my raphael but from some reason didnt fix the problem on this kitchen.....i think the new kitchen places actual ICS maybe in a different directory therefore usb to pc popup doesnt find it...or maybe its a shortcut that missing to ics that the popup uses to launch it...i even tryed the one from my 6.1 kitchen and still didnt work....it works perfect in 6.5.x builds...thats what gets me...but idk, i think it might be a keyreg somewhre...just dont know where to look...and theres not to much info on these forums...or i havent looked right..idk, any tips?

SYS by deafult has a lockscreen, and OEM providers have theirs in the EXT folder. Thats why it will work, even if you dont include it from EXT.

Ok thanks for the reply, I was hoping someone would be able to give me a more technical answer on what the difference is between what is already in the sys vs, adding this EXT to the build... Does this offer more features? Allow it to work better/faster, auto locking, etc.
