Does anyone know how to disable/stop the HTC system check screen from appearing during restarts on verizon TP2?

uncheck... System - HTC Animations - Bios Emulator
and then check... System - HTC Animations - HTC

this will remove the bios boot screen and replace it with the HTC logo

if you dont want to recook, replace this file HTCAnimationStartup.gif (in windows folder on device) with what ever animated .gif you want... just make sure to name the animated .gif "HTCAnimationStartup"

overwrite, reboot, done

Well dont give up, I figured it out. I dont know why i didnt see this before, BUT.....Its because of the length of the file name.Try taking the uzipped package from where you ever have it, and put it in the root of c:, then run it. BAM. works fine!

Of you end up using it post your feedback I am still on it and running smooth. I just realized that office 2010 is missing, anyone remember what sys packages to pull from the builds with 2010 and inject into this build ?

You need to copy the office folders from dpi_192 (0409 and common) and from SHARED (0409 and common) There are 4 folders.

Aside from that... is there a way to turn Office2010 into a pakage like the rest of the programs? Or is it tied to a sys/rom specifically?

Also... someone mentioned posting a Pakages thread or something.. where we can share our packages (hehe) and request and what not. Id like that idea very much. Ive been tryign to make my own packages but they havent been coming out too well, and its hard to find other packages sometimes.

Gonna go build me a new rom with 23544... Thanks again everyone. Its a nice little community that is in this thread.

There used to be a office 2010 cab out there but I normally just edit the sys before building. If you can not package in for some reason, you can add the cab to your config_operator file and put the cab in your OEM\Touch_Pro2\Common\OEMMISC. You may already know this but just info just in case.

Just to let ya know, you left alot of recmodded files in their respective directories...not a biggie but thats why the dl is 60+MB when they're usually 40+MB
