How do I change the icon of a program in the start menu? I've already replaced all the icons in the icons folder for the standard icon list, but I want to customize icons from the EXT folder so they match the rest of the theme. i.e. I don't really like the yellow icon of psShutxp

Add this key to the app.reg in the ext:

REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\ PsShutxp.lnk]
"icon"=\\windows\PsShutxp.png" (where PsShutxp.png is the name of the new icon you'll be using and will be located in the windows folder)

I'll flash it back to stock and try again in a bit, as well as post the ROM. After making that last post it locked up on the home screen, pressing start would do nothing. I just hard reset it and I'm gonna leave it off till I get home. I'll try that erv posted since I've got maybe 30 minutes before I gotta leave here. Maybe it'll work.

Edit: Trying to pull down beta 2 on my netbook while I have time. Capacity exceeded This actually isn't a slow PC. The high end atom, 2gb ram, and a fast SSD makes it a breeze to use. ROM cooking time isn't much worse than my old desktop which is a single core 2ghz AMD processor, 2gb ram, and two HDDs in a RAID 0 array. It was my gaming PC 6-7 years ago ;p

Thanks for responding. I just double checked which kitchen I am using and it is 1.5RC. So, if you go into settings, then personal, and open Buttons. At least I see 5 buttons named "Button". 4 assigned to <Context Menu> and the 5th to <Home>.
I never go into there, but I was looking for keyboard backlight setting and noticed this.
That's why I was wondering if the VZW carrier EXT has been updated since 1.5RC.
I guess I should add that I have always had problem with my keyboard backlight working even with stock ROM and multiple TP2s. The backlight wont stay on. It turns on/off with every key press.

If it matters, I only have one button showing up on K1.6b1, the end button.

I re-updated reg file for footprints and doc viewer so they all showed up on boot up. Shouldn't have to do anymore manual regedits. I also separated them so you can install any separately.

You convince me to write a registry script for it.

I find it easier putting reg tweaks in \Storage\XDA_UC than tweaking every Kitchen.
