To get previous kitchens downloaded, go to the download link for the newest kitchen and there should be a link, I think it was in the top left of the screen, to view other downloads from Calkulin.

Does Calkulin's kitchens use any form of UC custimazation at the end? I need it to run a SDCONFIG.TXT file on my storage card at the end of the rom setup process. Anyone help?

Or does anyone know how to cook in Sashimi or get it to autorun after the rom is firs set up?

No, I have requested it though

You can add xda_uc yourself. Search for xda_uc in this thread.

XDA_UC doesn't seem to work right with my configuration, but Sashimi works great and I think it's more flexible and easier to use. I just need to figure out how to autostart it.

XDA_UC has been working fine for me.

I have tried to load Da_gs sys/xip 28205 and others into this kitchen without any luck. It builds ok and then on loading in phone I receive a HTCLOG error when software is installing. I am aware that these builds are downloadable through Calkulin's site but I was trying to learn how to port these into the kitchen for future builds coming out. Is there a procedure out there that I am missing? I have read all the porting threads I could find from indagroove, Da_Gs and many other but I am still not getting it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks... tp2 wouldnt drop down.. deleted program started again!!! ahhhh gotta love it!.

On another note.. I've seen more then just another guy on here posting about adding builds come on now.. you seriosuly dont think anyones going to wait till you put it out... I like my own changes personally.

I took 23518 and Opera Beta 2u from V1.4 Kitchen and put into v1.33 Kitchen and added XDA_UC.

And it works great.

I get the threaded email, Stable 23518 and BlueTooth that does not suck battery down. I've got my procedure to check battery down solid and I don't need to wait a day or two to know. I know instantly if the battery is gonna be crappy.

I also notice two other things that went away going back to V1.33.

I built like 8 times V1.44 and every time Exchange Quit in the middle on the first sync.

V1.33 did not.

When I paired my headset I had mention it was a fight to get it paired with it not finding it, prompting for password, then still failed. Now it found headset immediately and didn't prompt for password.

With bluetooth on, screen at 30% with data connection up but idle I'm at 45-50ma which is where you need to be for good battery life.

I can even answer the phone with the slider while opera 10 is running.

So all my issues were something that the V1.44 kitchen added (drivers? what ever) and it didn't matter what build you based it on they were all messed up. They were all 6.5.3 builds.

That is weird you are having exchange issues on V1.4. I am running exchange 2003 and using 23518. Did you go back to the old kernel or are you using the new kernel win the v1.33 kitchen?

The reason you are having that issue is because you need to have Flamerise.tsk in the Base_Lang_0409_DPI_192_RESH_480_RESV_800 folder. Just replace the folder with the one I attached below and it will work.
