Ok, I found the way to do it. I can modify the saved rom file. Thanks for the help.

I am trying to create the a ROM with smallest footprint to be used with SPB Mobile. removed Titanium, IE and as much as I can.

Damn, just when I was looking forward to an updated kitchen with 28011.

Is it 6.5.5 now, instead of 6.5.3? Cause I noticed that with 28008 it showed 28008.5.3 under OS version and 28011 shows as 28011.5.5.

Nah, it's still officially 6.5.3: when the build changes from 28xxx as it did from 23xxx, then it will be something new ;)

Ok. I was wondering how they deciphered 6.5.1/6.5.3 and just assumed it was from that screen and that MS had opted to change build numbers as well. So how did we know it went from 6.5.1 to 6.5.3 and not 6.5.2? I hope I'm making sense.

Officially, we don't, as these are "leaks." But the source of the original branch leak usually has inside knowledge of the minor release, and lets it be known.

In the case of 6.5.3 I recall it was Da_G over at XDA, which in turn caused a few weeks of controversial downtime on the thread as MS supposedly called for a *cease-desist* Fortunately all is good again, though Da_G's releases are not quite as frequent these days, and MonkeyBape over at XBeta seems to be the main source for the most recent leaks.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.

Gah, and 28014 but only VGA. *sigh*

Hmm, maybe I'll do what I did with 28011 and hack something together using the Cal's 28011 and the "virgin" 28014 and see what WinDiff says is different...and then do a mashup and see what boils over. Hmm.
