I have tried to use Rhodium packages only except the 6.5 XIP ad SYS. 23517 is the latest leak from COM5 branch. It includes newer outlook and PIE. It seems to be very stable and fast, scrolling feels smoother than previous versions. If you like it or dislike it , please post, so that i know if i should keep wasting my and your time. I post a rom only if i like the rom, my roms are normally cooked for my personal use, if i really like the rom, i share it. Notables: * If you use your phone mainly for work and/or business, you must try this rom. * Removed htc dialer skin, i think it had way too much crap in it. * installs operamini, jbed and nitrogen media player, can be uninstalled if you dont need these. * Bluetooth icon on notification bar is part of skin, normally you would loose it if you remove skin, but i have managed to get it to work without the skin. * includes today agenda, If you dont like titanium todays screen , you can disable it and use today's agenda to show all appointments and tasks on today's screen. * Autolock works without any third party application. I've been using this rom since about 6pm last night. So far, so good. I'm on Verizon so I had to install the keyboard fix and carrier cab. I like the simplicity of the build. Almost a blank slate to install whatever you want. The Titanium UI works great. I don't miss the TF3D or Sense UI at all.

So far this is pretty solid build. I have two problems though. While the system is at idle memory leaks are not present. But if I start using the internet, make call, or just run programs in general, I lose about another 15-20% memory that can only be recovered from a soft reset or batt. pull. Another issue is the the clock and task manager drop down menu. The clock at the top right overlays the task manager drop down menu. you can see both of them just sitting there jumbled up. I had to disable the task manager drop down menu in order to see the clock. I would much prefer to have just the task manager there an no clock since its present on the today screen. Any way to disable the clock from settings?
Another thing that I noticed is the the lock screen has a very long lag. At times I think my phone has locked up. when turning on the back light it is unresponsive for a couple of seconds then the lock screen will appear. And some times the slider on the lock screen in unresponsive for a couple of seconds before you can unlock. It has yet to just appear and unlock, I always have to wait for a couple of seconds before it will do any thing. |

I have the issue with the clock/task manager too. Been trying to find a fix for it. Just noticed that you can see this issue in the first screenshot as well.

been using this for a dau now. very nice. a clean rom i can customize to death. ive installed many tweaks and cabs. only thing i miss is the htc volume control. rom has been stable and fast though thanks.
and as far as task manager i disabled htc's and installed showcase suite and mapped it to windows key. works GREAT. im at 38% ram usage at startup. and like 45% with pandora and opera mobile running |

in older builds we were able able to see either battery or time on the top. Now we can see both. trade off is the task manager dropdown overlapping the clock.
It is very easy to fix though. Just go to settings -> system -> taks manager and under the button tab, disable "enable quick menu on todays screen" |

the phonecanvas is weird though. theres a scrollbar on it ( i dont know why cause when you scroll down its blank) and the scrollbar blocks the 1st input number when dialing. these scrollbars are also present while in call (blank when u scroll down as well) anyway to fix this?

I used MarketPlace and found an app called "Home Screen Customizer" it allows you to add and remove 6.5 Panels. If you choose "add Panel" you can add Weather adds it to the 6.5 UI. Also a nice Search panel that allows you to add Wikipedia, Bing and Google to the 6.5 Home UI.
There is an Arcsoft MMS cab that works with this ROM for Sprint. There is also a Sprint Navigation Cab floating around that is the same that comes on the Sprint ROM. Just search and you'll find it. |

Another reason that made me make my own rom was , most of the roms had non functioning data arrows. I just cant stand data arrows that are always lit. |

Nice rom! Like everything except 1 thing - the signal icon. It looks pixelated and not the smooth 6.5 signal icons like the other 6.5/6.5.5 roms have. Is there a way to change this?

Testing out this clean ROM. Very nice!!! Everything seems very smooth so far.
ok so sorry if this is a NOOB question, but, can anyone tell me how do I get YouTube to play in Opera on this ROM? I down installed Adobe_Flash_Lite_2.1.cab but YouTube videos still say I need to get the latest flash player. Thanks -D |
