I just bought/downloaded the unlocker. I do have HardSPL. I have been running the Energy ROM, until a few days ago when I flashed to the latest Verizon stock ROM to get the latest radio. I am still running the latest Verizon stock ROM/radio with stock Verizon Touch Pro2. Afterwards, I decided I wanted to try the unlocked radio. I get an error when trying to run the SIM unlocker:

"Error with verification, please check your e-mail now."

And I got this email:

"We have detected that your location does not match your purchase address, to protect you from card fraud, if you must unlock urgently, please reply and explain why your purchasing address is different from where you actually are, otherwise, simply wait 48 hours from purchase time."

I was at work when I tried running the unlocker, then when I got home, I tried to run it at home, which is the address registered to my paypal account, and I get the same error message, but I did not receive another email. What does this mean? Why would it not work at my house, and am I going to have to wait 48 hours before I can try it again? I will be traveling this weekend and I would like to have this unlocked before tomorrow afternoon (I'm in GMT-05:00 Eastern Time)

EDIT: nevermind....they responded to the email, it was blocked to prevent fraud, and they unblocked it for me, so that really was the case. I ran the unlocker again and it worked fine from my work location.

Hoping somebody can help me out. Just got a brand new TP2 for my girlfriend who is on the AT&T network. Flashed the SIM Unlocker then the patched radio. Popped in her sim and was working fine. Could make calls, GPS worked, everything. Then went on to flash a new ROM and it stopped working. It couldn't find the network anymore. I tried flashing back to the stock ROM and it still wouldn't find the network. Double checked that it is in GSM mode so I don't know what I am doing?????

Thanks! Forgot about that minor detail! However, once I flashed a new ROM then the patched radio, I get the AT&T service (can make calls, text) but the internet is now not working. It was working the first time with the stock ROM but not with the custom one. Any ideas???

this is for tp2, not tp. also, just want you to know that this is for using other carriers sim cards.

So i finally got everything working and sim unlocked my VZW TP2 and I'm trying to use it on T-Mobile. Everything is working fine except for data... which I added to my plan. Do I have to do anything to make data work on T-Mobile too?:confused:

Ok everybody I need your help... I ran the unlocker and everything and when I go to phone options it says CDMA only... Before I changed it to GSM but now it says CDMA... Did I missed something or did something wrong? Is there something I can do to put it into GSM mode?

i've read that you can just call them and they will give you the data settings.

you're in the wrong section bud. I hope you didn't use this on your phone. read the thread title. also, the t-mobile tp2 is gsm only.
