no, it has nothing to do with that.

there's a million possibilities why it's dropping, it might be the device or it might not... it might be the radio or it might not (personally I doubt it), it could be the ROM or it could be the settings that you chose.

generally speaking, you should set it to GSM Only but the network selection should ALWAYS be on Auto.

Ive Tried Both Radio's from this thread

when going into the network setup ive discovered that Automatic Network Select doesnt work with any rom or radio unless you trick it into thinking its got automatic working. ill webcam or something with you and show you how it doesnt stay in coverage unless stationed

interesting, here's something that would be well worth testing:

1) get a Telus(Canada) ROM package, flash it to the device
2) flash the WU radio over the top (try both)

3) see if it works on Automatic or not, if it does, then the problem is that there is something in the US ROMs that's making it play up

A big thx to all who put the time in to make this all happen. New to this forum although I came over from XDA where I used your work on my Fuze. Just getting started with my TP2 and looking forward to making it smoke.....BTW, the donation is well desreved...

Olipro, would the Telus stock ROM work, or do we have to use a custom ROM based on the Telus ROM? Just asking so that I (and no one else) don't brick my phone. Thanks for your time in trying to resolve this.
