it is ok to soft reset but you must be synced with your computer in order to do this so no boot loader screen. there are a few of us that or still getting this error and we are trying work at finding out and fixing the problem.

If it helps any, I'm using Windows XP and have McAfee SecurityCenter installed on my Acer netbook.
