I downloaded the file and tried to extract it, and I am getting an error that the file is corrupt. Is there an updated or different file I should use for the Tilt2?

Okay, is there anyway you can stop ignoring the issue with the new TP2's? Obviously they have done something different. A new SPL, perhaps? It's not antivirus or a firewall, because guess what? None installed. Yes, windows firewall is off, too. Calling people idiots for trying to get help isn't solving the problem. I realize that you 2 are veterans here and respect your wisdom, but that is just uncalled for.

If there is a new SPL, will it require a new unlocker and relocker? Can we at least admit that people who have successfully unlocked TPs and older TP2s are having issues with the TP2s built in the last 2 months with the new ROM pre-loaded?

Please don't ignore this issue yet again.

At least someone is having success. I didn't try that many times. Didn't know if that might mess something up. I've gotten it to work as well now, but it took a couple tries.

there is no issue with unlocking newer tp2's. if you're having a problem unlocking, describe in detail what you're doing and what you've tried from the multiple suggestions in post 1 and 2 and what error message, if any. I'd be glad to help you out. I've already helped 3 people unlock new (6.5 pre-loaded) sprint tp2's today.

Thank you, razor. First, the bootloader does come up saying that the SPL is version 0.72 not 0.63

I'm going to try again now and update this post.

1st attempt the device froze on black screen, disconnected from activesync...resetting

This may take a while. Stuck at 0% for what seems way too long. Trying to start again and the device once again disconnected once the exe is run and had to reset.

EDIT: Okay, can confirm this does work...eventually. Doesn't go as smoothly as before, takes a bit longer, but it will work. Also saw a few pages ago that there may be issues relocking, but it did go back to 0.72. There also could be network issues, perhaps. If your firewall is off and it's still not going, give it more time or try again later. If that doesn't work, then check your real-time protection again to make sure it is off. Maybe not an antivirus, but other protection software. Turn it all off. It's possible that what works with the older phones just doesn't with the newer ones. I used version 1.10R3 on a computer and internet account that had not unlocked any other phones.

Had unlocked and successfully flashed TP2, but because of an hardware issue it was replaced under warranty yesterday. The new unit will sync with my old data, but won't unlock. When I run the unlocker it goes until the tricolored bootloader screen, then goes gray with a progress bar, but never goes past 0%. Then the unlocker gives an error and helps me "recover" the process.
Doing a hard reset boots the phone normally with no issues as if nothing happened!!

This is not a problem with the connection as far as I know. Am I missing something?

You are only allowed to unlock 1 phone per IP address. You can try submitting a ticket for your replacement to be allowed, but that seems to take a very long time. You can also donate and get access quicker. Otherwise, if all AV, firewall, internet protection software is disabled, you can just try, try again. Eventually worked for a new TP2 I was working on.

Also if I go to starbucks or somewhere with wifi, won't I get a new IP address? Or are they tracking my MAC address or something?

i did try to donate again, even went to another computer with different internet and it will not let me donate again. And i have sent 5 follow ups and no response.
