Re: RhodiumW CDMA Worldphone HardSPL Unlocker Release

I got the USB connection error, according to ur post "anyone having USB problems with the device after it already entered SSPL mode, please copy SSPL-Manual-Rhodium.exe from SSPL-Manual-RhodiumW.zip attachment in this post, copy it to the device and run it."
So, where is the SSPL-Manual-RhodiumW.zip?

Re: RhodiumW CDMA Worldphone HardSPL Unlocker Release

Hi,
I am about to unlock my Sprint TP2 and flash with the new ROM. Just want to confirm the steps:
1. I have to follow steps 1->11 on the first page to unlock my phone. This will install some kind of software on my phone that allow me to flash my phone. This does not alter the original ROM on the phone. If I do this and don't flash my phone with a new
ROM, my phone will work as before.
2. Pick a ROM and flash my TP2. After flashing, will my phone work right away or I/Sprint have to reprogram it?

Can someone please confirm this? Thank you.

No it is not connected with a USB cable.
Here is how the process went down.
1. Downloaded HSPL
2. Added HSPL to DEP exceptions - windows said reboot to take effect
3. Rebooted
4. Opened HSPL
5. Connected Phone
6. Let active sync do its thing
7. Tried to flash phone, it went instantly to 100% and said flash complete.
8. Looked at phone and nothing changed
9. Closed HSPL
10. disconnected phone from PC
11. did hard reset on phone
12. restarted pc again to see if that would help
13. PC = black screen until OSX is loaded.

I am, well was until now that is, running Vista x64 and XP x64 and Win7 x64 with bootcamp.

I was able to use HSPL on my laptop (Toshiba Satellite x205-sli6) and it flashed my phone fine, with bootloader mode confirming SPL-1.00.OliNex.
However, my MacPro ($3,000USD machine) is still out of commission.
