Crazy q here....

I've got a stock Telus 6.1 ROM on my phone. Do I need to use the unlocker first and can I just flash this 6.5 ROM?

OK that was 2 questions. Sorry to sound so noob, but I haven't been able to see anywhere this was discussed and I don't want to brick my phone by doing something really stupid - like not ask a simple q.

you dont have to unlock to flash the stock rom. There is no stock telus 6.5 rom, so i dont know what 6.5 rom you're talkin about.

I'm lost.............

I have a new Sprint TP2, with the stock sprint wm 6.5, and 2.5 sense. I want to go to the stock sprint wm 6.1, and 2.1 tf3d.

What do I do? do I have to unlock my phone first? Or do i just flash the rom that's on the first page? And, does the stock rom from the first page have the 2.1 tf3d in it?

I have read a bunch on here and simply don't get it. I actually feel a little silly having to ask all this, but i have to.

Any help would be much thanked!

whats wrong with the answer you were given above? those questions have been answered on this same page. i'm not sure why you're askin again. just read the few posts above.

Its easy, this is how I did it:

>Download file "RUU_Rhodium_W_Sprint_WWE_1.21.651.3_RS_1.96WF_NV_ S PCS_1.42_0430_PRL60652_Ship.exe" to your desktop

>Connect the phone to your desktop with a usb cable and choose active sync

>Run the downloaded file and follow its prompts to begin the flash

>After flashing it is suggested you do a "Clear Storage"(hard reset)

>All done

The filename referenced in this post does have TF3D 2.1. Also, as Razorloves directed, there is no need to unlock your phone to flash from stock sprint 6.5 to stock sprint 6.1.

Its probably explained like that somewhere on this site, but I could not find it. Maybe I'm just stupid (i'm actually not stupid at all), but I think it was just that I was doing so much searching, and alot of reading from lots of threads that I just couldn't put it together.

I did not know what to do with the exe file from the first page (which by the way, the link dosen't work, and the mirror sux) or if the Blah blah blah......... you get the picture.

hi all. I'm getting a 530 error when I try to log in. I'm using the same ID and password to get into this forum. did something change? I also tried resetting my password in the user control panel, still no luck...
