why do the htc apps keeep showing up in the start menu(footprints...ect)..even if i remove them from windows folder with total commander...seem like a 6.5xxx glitch..any1 no why...

Thanks alot! I'm an insomniac and hardly get any sleep anyway. Those stupid HTC app shortcuts are so effin annoying. I've been trying to get rid of them or atleast move them to a folder where they are unseen... I could really use a drink right now lol, cept every store close is closed at the moment. lame zzzzz...

Hey just wondering how do you manage your open programs in the new 2.1 ROM? Is there anyway to open htc task manager or showcase or whatever is included from the home screen without going into the start menu? Also how do you hard reset the 2.1 ROM?

im on sprint, on 28002 build, what do i need to do to get mms to work, looked on first page but cant change server url ect.

After 5 hard reset and SDConfig modification, I couldn’t make the SDConfig to work.
Also I notice that some of the problem with charging light not update for a while.
Can any one verify SDConfig working on the 11-21 build ?

I can get it to sync now, but I have to deselect the button to allow faster data synchronization and uncheck the button that allows me to select activesync/Disk Drive/Internet Sharing. So now everytime I connect it just goes to activesync.

Is this the only way it will work?

Tried the 2.5 build from the 20th and it is NOT getting along with exchange server at all. tried 4 different times even without HTC Sence enabled but as soon as i add the exchnage server it will start to sync, never really finish then after a softreset it blows out the start menus (ie start bar is gone and can't get to programs or settings).

I am running the rom on my wifes phone with no exchnage server and the rom is rock solid.

Anyone else conecting to exchnage?

I will try the other 2 roms now that they have been posted and give more feedback later today.
