A .cab means its a file that once opened, install's itself in the phone.

Alll you need to do is download it and save it on your computer or if you have internet on your phone then download it to the phone. If you download it to your phone then it will ask you if you want to save or open the file. If you pick open it, it will download then automactically install it to your phone. When it goes to install it, it will ask you if you want to install to phone or scan card. You of course pick what you want. It will then install and now you have the program on your phone.

If you save the .cab file to your computer then you will have to transfer the file by syncing your phone to your computer. Then you get the .cab file on the phone open up your file mamager and find the .cab file, click it to run the install.

As far as Cfay making a Build I course can't speak for him. But it would be nice if guys like him would make a build just for each persons wants. But he like others makes roms for himself that we either like and want, or not.

You would have to use BuildOS to make your own builds and they currenty do not have Touch Pro 2 in the buildos program.

Since you found the .cab file, now know what a .cab file is and how eazy it is to install. I am sure you are now on your way. We are all greatful to Cfay his rom is by far the best one out currenty. And what I do is install additional programs to the phone by using the .cab files that I want. You will see that its not hard to install these .cabs. Hope I was helpful.

As always a great ROM. Perhaps, for future releases you consider incorporating XDA_UC. As a "flash-a-holic" ("My name is Vegasden and I am addicted to flashing") this feature is wonderful in restoring many add-on's I have to reload after a flash. It's painless and rather user-friendly. Ok...ive dl'ed the touchpal_v4.0 onto my phone but when i go to open the file it says "no app associated with it, run the application first then open this file"...got me, whats the next step senor claude???

did u make sure to unzip it unwinar it whatever first and make sure if it didnt have a .cab extenstion u put one on it? also make sure u dont need to install it from the pc to activesync install it on ur phone

do i need to install winrar on my phone first???

try saving it as a cab if not download winrar to your computer then unrar it and copy it to your phone

i open it but try to "extract" it to phone and it doesnt show its there, even tho it is synced up...even got the green check saying tis connected but winrar doesnt seem to recognize it.
