Does the titanium only rom come with the stock WM taskbar? Or does it come with the strange looking one that he's using with his manila roms?

Is anyone witnessing the following?

When i listen to music using the music tab. After I stop the music (after a good 1h using earphones), my phone lags soooo badd. I even tried to run CleanRam 1.9 (level1,2 and even 3) it still remains sooooo slow untill i am forced to reset it

I checked the Memory and i have 65Mb free. What is causing this?

So I decided to give Driverpack 3 a try and no imrpovements

Im using 23504. What do you guys think?

Are you using the HTC Music Player or Windows Mobile Media Player (or another 3rd party app)?

I dunno, its the regular music tab. I dunno what ENERGY linked it to.

BTW, They just changed the styling to this forum. Linking it better. Nice improvement guys

It seems that he's able to make the 6.5.3 X Button to close programs instead of minimize by default. I haven't flashed to his ROM, but do you think you can find out what he's done and include that feature to the next EnergyROM release? Thanks!

Oh that takes you to the HTC Music Player, try playing your mp3s with windows mobile media player (start > multimedia > Windows Media), see if you get the same memory issues.

What do you think of TCPMP or Nitrogen. any feedback or advice would be appreciated?

I can't personally vouch for either of those since I haven't tried them. But I've used the build in Windows Mobile Media Player ("Windows Media" app) and the sound quality is fine.

I've seen SP2 v0.73 beta (freeware) over at xda, which looks pretty good. I am not sure if it's its own player or a skin for windows mobile media player but it's slick looking, kinda like the iphone mp3 player.

EDIT: I just tried SP2 v0.73 (don't worry if it says VGA it works fine with the TP2). It's pretty cool it mimics the mp3 player from the iphone/ipod touch. I think it's just a skin for windows mobile, but it provides nearly the identical functionality of the HTC Music Player (the one from the manila tab) but in a much nicer interface than Windows Mobile Media Player.

EDIT: I also tried the open GL version, that worked better for the TP2

He says in his thread he's using Showcase. NRG had showcase in one of the earlier builds, but I believe it was locking up the messaging app. I tried installing it on my phone, and it cause Sense not to load on soft reset. I've yet to see a fix for that problem.

I used S2P a while, but it's just not ready for prime time. It frequently locked up my stock rom. Opening the keyboard or rotating to landscape caused it to freak out. And, the author has disabled landscape mode. It'll be a great app when he gets all the bugs worked out!

Coreplayer works really well and seems to use little system resources, but I usually just use WMP.
