anyone figure out how to get animated weather working on the Today screen for 2.5?

There was only one person who gave an opinion, not a FOR SURE answer so i was looking for other opinions.

With these phones.. there is almost always a way to do things..

Mine will NOT update the weather all day till I tell it to..

Silly question (maybe), but have you gone into the settings on the weather tab and checked "Download weather automatically"? It doesn't allow to set the schedule but it updates approx every two hours. I don't know that anyone has figured out the schedule!!!

Has anyone tried running TellMe on 28002? I can start the program but it will close immediately. I could run it on 6.5.1 (SSK version).

edit: Also, has anyone got a cab of the Opera 9.5 that came with the device. I'd like the zoom bar to work, etc. Been searching for the past two hours (probably right in front of me!).

Thanks.. thats some USEFULL info.. did not know about that setting.. it will help some.. still hoping for a hack to make it happen every 30 min or something like that

Hey man, I think it would be better if you posted it in the LEO section as the probably of getting the answer there is far more than here.

I will try this out of luck, but go to Settings tab, Wallpapers, When asked, press yes. Go to today screen, press green button, then red button and hopefully you should see the weather animated.

But thats a wild guess, hope it helps

Does anyone have a cab for the WVGA version of Opera 9.5 build 17963 or Opera 9.7 build 35541 (the builds that came with the Nov. 9 release of Photon)? The main xda thread with different Opera versions only has the VGA version. I really want to like the newer photon builds, but I NEED Opera 9.5 or 9.7.

Or does anyone know if the VGA versions will work properly on the TP2?

Also for people like me still using the 21864 build, the following cab: C07 SenseUI 2.1 Trans Slider Fix Mode9, fixes the transparent slider overlay issue when you have unread messages/emails. Here is the thread where I got it from.
