Hey man, I think it would be better if you posted it in the LEO section as the probably of getting the answer there is far more than here.
I will try this out of luck, but go to Settings tab, Wallpapers, When asked, press yes. Go to today screen, press green button, then red button and hopefully you should see the weather animated.
But thats a wild guess, hope it helps
