I ended up getting Leo instead of Photon because it had a later Manila release, but I can see myself experimenting with other roms also. It's just so freaking easy

I'm not sure I ever want to cook my own roms. I'm happy flashing premade ones. Then again I've modded the iPod Touch, DS, and PSP, so the itch will probably get to me sooner or later.

Can you put messages BACK FROM the PC MyPhone TO the phone?

Two more questions. I'll stay here because Photon and Leo are pretty much the same and I like you all already and these are non-rom specific

How do I get my contacts from Google Contacts to my phone? I also have them on Palm Desktop and was able to upload them to Google Contacts. I tried adding m.google.com as the server and my username@gmail.com and password and use SSL and it fails. Sigh.

AND... any tweaks now that I'm modded that will make Skype come off the phone earpiece (as opposed to a Bluetooth earpiece) instead of the phone's speaker?

I got to say I'm a Windows Mobile convert. I think Android is easy, and WM is powerful. There's so many tweaks you can do and I haven't even started exploring.
