I have also had that problem with gmail. Works fine for the first day or so, then it disappears and when I try to re-do the settings, says the account already exists. Wish I knew how to fix it...but instead I had to switch Roms.

Can you guys be more detailed as far as what "dissapeared" means exactly ?

I've used all E-ROMs from Jan 4th on, but never had any problems with e-mail. I use yahoo and outlook. This my first Phoenix.

when using the Phoenix 2 23529 version, I register my gmail settings like usual, having it sync every 15 minutes. After a day or so, I have noticed that the tab is gone in HTC Sense, it isn't syncing the new mail, and I cannot re-add or adjust any of the settings to the gmail account because it says the account already exists, although it isn't visible. Hope this helps and thanks for your great work.

No please do not stop. I keep going back and forth when you release new ones but I always end back up with the Phoenix ones. For me at least the battery drain is much less with 2.1 and overall the system seems much faster. Now I just need some time to update my phone with the latest update

I set up my accounts to sync every 5 minutes and its fine for a day, but then in the account is gone. If you click inbox both gmail and yahoo are gone and if you go into menu-options-accounts it is gone. If you try and re-ender your account settings it will say that the account already exists. I had this problem with the latest 2.5 Leo, but I was able to fix it by going into account settings through the manila tab (not windows) and it would let me re-enter the information and it worked after that. But Manila 2.1 doesn't have the same setup...if that makes sense. So the email bug and the ringer not sounding are the only bugs I've found in this build, other than that it is great. Thanks!

Oh I forgot to mention...you can still view your emails directly on manila, but if you click on a email it won't open.

WTF. Once again, I cannot get MMS to work. I flash, install Verizon MMS fix 2.1 cab, and still receive an error when I try to send an MMS.

Can anybody PLEASE give me the official method for getting MMS to work on Verizon?

Edited to add: The ROM itself is awesome. Very snappy and stable. I appreciate all of your work, NRG. Just frustrated with this phone.

Are you trying to send something larger than the size limit that the mms is set to?.

Nope, it doesn't give me an error telling me it's too big. Also, when composing the message, it says 175k/4.9M on the bottom. Thanks though.
