Re: |R|6.5.3|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Phoenix 2" 28014/21885 ★Dec 17★ Sense 2.1/Titani

Figured I'd give the Pheoinix dec 25 a try. Was there a change to weather? I am assuming that it would be the same on each of his roms. But for some reason it records me 45 miles west of my location? I'm baffled! Anyone else with this issue?

Excellent ROM. This has become my favorite so far. Just came from using MightyROM for the past month or so after the EnergyROM Leo gave me some troubles.

I'm having one minor issue that I'm wondering if anyone else is having or has seen. I have Opera set to be my default browser. When I slide to the Internet tab, there's a Bookmarks button. When I press that, it opens a blank screen. If I click on the Edit button from this screen, Opera opens up and then opens up my Bookmarks folder which shows the bookmarks I have (currently about a dozen). Any reason why these aren't showing when I click on the Bookmarks button from the Internet tab? It's as if it's pointing to the wrong folder or something since it's not seeing any of the bookmarks I created.

This is probably about as minor as an issue can be, so it's not that big of a deal...but something I'd still like to get fixed. That said, great job!
Solved my own problem. Here's the resolution in case anyone else has the same problem, which is likely. I'm guessing something changed with the new builds of Opera 9 (or 9.7 in this case, which is included in the Dec. 25th build I'm using) since all the information I've found puts the Bookmarks file (opera6.adr) in the \Windows\Opera9 folder. The opera6.adr file is actually found in \Windows\Opera9\Profile with this ROM. I simply copied the file to \Windows\Opera9 and now the Internet tab Bookmarks button actually shows my Bookmarks now. The only downside is that I'll have to manually copy it over again if I make any changes to the Bookmarks.

Working fine for me. Did you turn on the GPS, location service, and all that fun stuff? Does Google Maps show your location properly?

Note to self, do not load a GSM version of this ROM on a CDMA device, phew

Yes. All thats turned on. As far as google maps. Its plain weird, it switches between 2 locations north & east of me within minutes of each other. Its as if my phone is in 3 locations including mine. 1/3rd the time it gets it right. I also *228 option 2 with tower hoping that would help. Not much different.

Re: |R|6.5.3|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Phoenix 2" 28014/21885 ★Dec 17★ Sense 2.1/Titani

Using EnergyROM_28011_RHOD500_25.Dec.2009_Standard:

1) HTC Messaging, there is a space missing from the contact's first name and last name

2) Is there a list that tells what the default apps are and what they do?

3) It was asked before but not answered in this thread that I could find, are the two cabs that free up 15-20% RAM installed, one being the no push internet?

4) I'm on Sprint and didn't do any of the MR.X provisioning cabs but haven't seen any issues, are others doing this? I saw it may help for Sprint TV but I don't use it nor do I have it on my SERO 500.

5) When you have an attachment in an email and do Save As, the dropdown menus on the next screen overlap the buttons on that screen

6) Any way to remove TotalCommander? I liked the normal file explorer fine. The reason being is TotalCommander doesn't seem to allow you to install CABS from within a ZIP file without unzipping first.

I used NRG's ROMs on my old HTC Mogul and have been using MightyMike's ROMs lately but gave this version of NRG's a chance, very good stuff I can see as can be expected from such a veteran.

Here are the 2 cabs for 25% of free memory. Don't know the others...

Yes, those are the ones I'm talking about, do you think these were already included in the ROM or need to be installed yourself?

Haha I don't know. I'm presently running Mightys ROM. I have flashed every ROM here in the last couple weeks though... I hear that NRG is working on an update but don't know ETA.
