ok in registry setting change SMS to SMS.htc, take a peep at your settings and then soft reset
after softreset goto pics and select a pic, hit the short cut that looks like a V and then hit mail, put your phone number in and send the pic to yourself, it should work.
if it do not work let me know

Which one do you prefer? Also, do you know where I can get rss hub and the IM program?

Does Beejive or Parlingo support Yahoo instant messenger?

I got a couple of answer... hopefully ya could help me out.

1. I see you can lock your phone with a password under settings... on the R3 somehow I got it to lock without having to enter your password... just click and slide. How do I go about doing that?

2. I know this phone has the text to speech thing under voice command... it works for everything but text messaging... I have everything enable under messaging and it doesn't work. Any reason why? Thanks!

text to speech is a total seperate program, and you use a password to unlock the phone not lock it

errr... well the one where it actually reads out your text message, emails.. i got it to read out everything but my text messages... and i checked everything that is suppose to be checked and still doesn't work. just curious.

Ya thats what i meant... sorry... in R3, I used the lock feature where you have to enter a passcode everytime you wake the phone... then i got sick of entering the passcode since my parents uses my phone from time to time. I'm not sure what I did... I think I just uncheck the prompt if phone unuse for box. Then found out that every time I wake the phone all i need to do is slide to access the phone content... no passcode required.

thats what i want... where everytime you wake the phone it just need you to simply slide it.

if your talking about the back favpeople up.cab, i tried this and it didnt work properly. it says 2.5 compat but wen i try to restore, its 1 not in the same order and 2 it gave me duplicates of sum contacts and missing others.

i got lost into the reg. (once agian) trying to find more settings to save, to make flashing easier and found sumthing for the favorites/ppl tab. this did work and restore my people's tab contacts, no missing and no duplicates BUT it wasnt in order. and what i did 2 check was set my fav contacts, export reg. (this was all on R5) then clear storage restore w/ pim backup then import the favppl.reg and it work but agian it wasnt in order.

its [ hkey_current_user\Software\HTC\People\FavoriteOrde r ]

so to me this works better than the back favppl up app well maybe not better but just the same

I had to install a cab for RDP on R3 as it didn't seem to be included. The first few were all 6.1 cabs and none of them would connect. Then I found a 6.5 cab and it worked straight away. PM me if you need it.

I thought i read that there was a fix to make the weather animation go quicker, i thought i read that somewhere..........can anyone comfirm? I know the leo has a 1ghz processor and the touch pro 2 has 500 somethin mhz so naturally it will go slower i wanna speed that up............

Also what should i use to assign photo to my contacts to make it clear when they call me? i usually go to contacts and do it but when they call its always blurry

Does anyone else get tired of reading the MMS posts in this thread? Seriously, 1/3 of the whole thread is about MMS... Can some mod setup a whole thread JUST for Juicy users discussing MMS? A nice little sticky maybe? It's just a shame when a new version is released and there's instantly 30+ pages mostly about the same single issue.

When a new release comes out, I'd personally like to hear what its strengths and weaknesses are in comparison to other versions and other chef's ROMs. What's fixed/broken? What's faster/slower? Are you happier than you were yesterday??

Thanks

I have, it is minimal... mostly more triangles per frame in OpenGL ES tests. The performance IS better, but nothing great.

This is great! Hoping someone makes one for the rain animation too cause that ones just as slow for me.

How are you guys coping with sms lag? Are you deleting your sent and received sms regularly?
