It's too bad Mighty is gone, the new Sense 2.5 (from a leaked ATT ROM, I think) seems quite a bit faster.

If we want a more updated ROM that doesn't look too cheesy (sorry, other ROM chefs!), where should we look? Basically, who is the successor to Mighty?

Windows Mobile is on its death bed hooked up to a life support machine. Time to move on to Anderoid, W7, or.......to The Dark Side.

You can also try Vin's roms (6.5 & 6.5.x). Its pretty much close to stock besides those fruity dialers.

lol....Vin's got stock or regular dialers .cab's to replace the 'fruity' ones.

Yeah I know. I'm waiting to see how WP7 pans out, then either going with WP7 or Android.

So with the Vin roms I can get rid of all the cheap photoshop "glassy" looking stuff?

Yes, the only things "glassy" are the menu icons and dialer. However, he has an HTC icon rom which leaves only the dialer as "glassy". You can use the stock VZW dialer Vin provided to replace that, so no more glass.

Are you looking for 6.5.X, or 6.5 roms?

hey guys, just flashed back to this ROM, the 6/20 dated one. I originally came from using the Energy cookie one and it was ok, but low memory all the time and really buggy was the reason I switched back. One thing I do miss from the Energy ROM is how good the screen resolution was. Everything was nice and small, especially when using Opera, web pages were very small but sharp. On this ROM, web pages are huge! Does anyone know what I'm talking about? and how to get the same resolution from the Energy ROM?

well if you guys want a rom close to Mighty check out Leads Rom its the closes it gets to this Rom and its a bit more updated with Manila and with out any of the glassy stuff Vins has

juggs roms are as close to mm roms as you can get, very fast/stable 6.5
