Anyone else seeing this problem with the ROM? Havent installed anything on top of Mighty and I'm not using Sense, I'm using the standard Windows desktop

very randomly, at least twice a day, the phone loses sound. What I mean is, if someone calls or texts messages me, the phone vibrates but I dont get any sound. I have the volume all the way up and I have wav and mp3 files set as ringtones, so it should make some noise. Also I have it to make a click sound when I hit menu buttons etc, and those are silent. I have to soft reset to clear it up. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Are you running a custom task bar? That and some other programs you might have loaded can cause this.

taskbar issues are the direct result.

im using whatever task bar comes standard on Mighty Rom. would you recommend I switch it to something else then?

I havent installed anything other than what is included on the 3/22/2010 version of MightyRom

all I've done is turned off Sense UI

If that's the case and you've really installed nothing but the ROM, then there's a pretty good chance you have a bad flash artifact somewhere. Rather than fiddling around the edges with reflashes, you might as well go industrial strength and do Ziggy's Task 29 process to clear and reformat your NAND flash memory:

Then I'd reflash MR 03.22 and see how you make out. If the problem persists, you might actually have a hardware issue, but that seems unlikely.

You could also take the intermediate step of turning the Sense UI *on* for a couple of days and see if the problem exhibits itself there as well. If it doesn't happen under Sense, then there might be a bug on the Titanium side that few of us would see -- but again, somewhat unlikely as at the level of things like the audio driver, many of those DLLs are common.

Help,

I am having trouble running the task29 mentioned on the very first page.
1. It indicates that I should put in my favorite radio (I don't know what that is and where to find it)
2.Whenever i try to run the task29.exe file I get the following message:

"ERROR [240] : FILE OPEN The Update Utility can not open the requested file. Please check your Update Utility"

I found fixes to remove the top and bottom curtians, i have found fix for clear clock and clock background. I am loving the new rom, but is there a way to make the "calender section" clear backgroud as well? I would also love my "blackout 2" icons back, but old ones dont seem to work :(

I think SOD was also tracked down to a issue with re-importing call history. Search this thread, ziggy posted a fix.

Push gmail working fine here.
Use the ziggy on in post 3 or 6 (same one). Nothing to add

I was wondering if there is any issues with hosting several of the CABs that people use on my own website? That way when the threads are cleaned links are not broken. This would of course be used for the MightyROM Wiki where I try to post links to the actual download site or development threads when available.

I am also trying to find some of the CABs that have been posted, and that is becoming a futile search.

I got black icons here, that change color when highlighted. also tested and works both portrait and landscape.

Alright quick question. When I slide over to the internet tab, and then type inside the google search at the top...when the results come in they are in a different language.:scratch: How do I make it so that its in English? When I tap the globe and then search it comes back fine. Its just the google search from the internet tab that gives me this problem. Any suggestion??

i just flashed a couple hours ago and it seems whenever i go into the contacts tab im experiencing somewhat of slowdown/lag there what gives? is this common in this rom?

Can anyone recommend a good (usable) Google Voice dialer? I am currently using OneDialer and am not too impressed. I sometimes dial into my Google Voicemail and call through there, but that doesn't work if you don't have a phone number in front of you.

I posted the one file that NRGZ had said he thought was the culprit in this post. As for the importing of the call history, that's what would reliably allow me to recreate the issue, there are still other instances where it might occur. I'm still not 100% positive that this is a true Fix for it, it still needs to be tested more.

ChainFire had found a way to compress the images in Manila to save space. The problem is that you have to patch the manila.exe file in order for it to work. Mike didn't use CFC, ChainFire Compression, in his latest ROM, however, there are some themes that come compressed. Since people were asking about it, I went ahead and patched Manila and added the other needed files, so that people could have CFC compression available.

if google on this rom goes through IE, sometimes google doesn't locate properly and you end up getting google german or spanish. used to happen all the time on my q9c.

That you very much. When I have power in my house again (been out for 9 hours and counting) I will see if I can get that stuff added. Do not worry about the cold for me though I am a hardy Canadian. My wife (from Maine) is another matter so we added more blankets to the bed. At about 4 in the morning when the house was 15 and droping, I broke a couple electrical codes and made a plug-in for my furnace. Add an extension cord and generator and I at lest have heat. More concerned for my mom though, she has 4 greenhouses pretty near full of plants... Parents have a full generator setup though and it has been running since 10 (MST). If dad needed help he would have called, and I am not sure mom even knows about the power being out as she is visiting my sister.
Almost enough snow to fire up the snowmobile, sure would be nice as this winter sucked. We also need much more mositure for the crops. Not even that cold outside, it is only -2

I need help with tethering, I have done my fair share of searching but nothing, do I change the setting to sprint for wifi router to work off phone, becuase thats the only setting that lets it turn on, or do I need to download a tethering program, like people have stated in the search i went through, any link for mighty rom ](*,) Update: I even check the wiki page. PLLLLLEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSEEE help

ive installed both the jojo bees arcosoft cab and the imnuts mms cab and after both installs i have not been able to send any picture messages with my Verizon Touch Pro 2..has anyone found a fix for this yet??

Which version of imnuts mms cab are us using? I'm using: imnuts Verizon ArcSoft MMS 5[1].2.12.45 20100204 and just verified that I can send a picture.

How are you trying to send, from the actual picture in your photo album, or by attaching a pic?
Lastly, are you trying to send mms while connected to wifi or vzw data, as wifi will not allow you to send mms?

I have the WiFi router set to use Sprint and then connect to the WiFi signal on my laptop/iPad. It works flawlessly.

i got it from the 4th post at the beginning of the thread mines doesnt have the [1] in the file name like yours has can u post that one ill give it a try

im going thru the photo album and then hitting the 2 arrows that say send mail then hit picture message and everytime i try to send it fails and asks me to retry and never goes through...and im sending it over verizon's data.
