how else is it more functional? as soon as i saw sense 2.5 ive been kinda skeptical to flash it since ive heard of the bugs the sense 2.5 has on the tp2 since it doesnt have as much processing power and ram as the hd2 has.

I have installed: Cookie's hometab, pocketshield, volumex, Awesome Start Menu, Bing, WorldCard, TotalCommander, FDC Task Manager, a few stupid card games/board games, and my own apps ZoomBarPlus and ReRemind.

EDIT: I also installed the Sprint automatic PRL Update service. I'm going to try disabling the service and killing omc.exe. It's a long shot...

It would seem that there are enough Serial ports, so why does only one show up in Bluetooth -> Advanced -> Serial Ports?

Not really sure where to go from here. Any ideas?

I have also tried the USB internet sharing built-in (which would suffice for the time being) but it does not work for me either. My computer makes the dong-dong-dong (unhappy) sound and not the dong-ding (happy, connected) sound, and my phone continues to show "Please check USB connection" on the sharing screen. Then the "ActiveSync, Disk Drive, Internet Sharing" screen will open up (all the while I have not closed the internet sharing screen and I did hit "Connect" before plugging in the cable.

I would prefer Bluetooth DUN, but anything right now will be fine (I do not have WiFi on this computer, so I can only expect that that will work if I had a card... :p)

HD Tweaks is similar to Advance Configuration. Lets you mess with a ton of settings that can cause problems. I have had your same problem with the very last 2.1 Sense ROM Mighty did, so I don't believe it is related to this ROM. I seem to remember that I was messing with removing poutlook from the startup folder. Once I put it back I think my problem went away. It also might have been pure luck, so take what I am saying with a grain of salt so to speak. If you cleared storage back to his base ROM, and limited your software installs to one at a time, waiting a half to full day in between new installs, you might find that their is program causing the issue.

So instead of a Public IP address I only have a Private one. May not sound like a big issue, but one of the main reasons I use my phone for internet is for that Public IP address.
Also to note, my dial-up connection on the phone is “CDMA1X” Maybe if I change it to Telus or Sprint, it will pass-through the connection?

The key is to make every post a helpful post. Find something you are good at and use that ability to help the rest of us. Gaget1 makes killer graphics, imnuts does MMS, MrMediaGuy misc fixes, purian23 sweet themes, tjElite does many cab fixes, ziggy471 custom programs like Zurn (how is that lawsuit anyway? ;) )... The list is long and I know I missed other people that contribute a substantial amount of time and effort with their only reward being the "Thanks" they get on a post. They all have something in common though, *tons* of Rep points.
No I did not forget Mike, I was covering more of his support team since I think that *everyone* knows that Mike deserves all the thanks for his hard work.

It is interesting about the Zurn thing. My company (the company I work for, to be specific) bought Zurn a year or so ago, and they installed in all our locations, these automated flushers for the urinals and toilets, man, what a nightmare they are. Many times they don't flush when you get off the "pot" so you have to manually press the button. Seems like they need to tweak them a bit.
