Try removing battery, then as you insert battery, quickly hold volume down and power button.

Did you take the battery out and power it down, make sure the phone is off before you push the buttons. hope that helps.

Yeah, what Jim said. mightyrom.com is running real slow. Poor ziggy's server must be smoking from the load. I got to it but it took forever to load just now. Give it a try and be patient.

It's just a simple registry change and should have absolutely no ill effects.
