I know exactly what you're talking about. I had the same issue, so I tried using Sashimi's built-in feature to automatically delete .lnk files. When that didn't work I wrote my own mortscript to delete them. Still didn't work... So I ran it by ziggy to get his take and he suggested that I simply edit the install location of the cab files. Doing that fixed the problem. You may want to give that a try

Hey, good call, but unfortunately, these are cooked in the rom so they're probably getting placed by provxml or app.dat files that are part of the OEM or EXT packages.

The really odd thing is that they delete manually with no issue whatsoever ... with the built in file manager.

Any other thoughts ... don't know what else is worth trying?

so weird...again i've used other unlock radios and never had to Sim Unlock.

well i bricked my phone at the bootloader. That's what i get. So i Task 29 it, and i'm re-loading FF. sucks :)

I think i'll hold off on the radio upgrade till tomorrow.

Are you saying your using some Sprint Battery Drivers on top of what Mike has already done? Care to share the CAB(s)?

I am assuming he is talking about the drivers in the rom....

Beta testing report : 4/28

Another typical day(just like my earlier post)

Today was for battery test. The battery now at 58%, unplugged since this morning at 6:45AM. Excellent battery life. Exchange and Office communicator always on, parlingo 2-3 hours.

Still haven't reset after the flash, and the memory is now at 82% and GWES is at 32MB.

First of all I would love to thank Mighty Mike for making such wonderful ROMS. I've been a long time stalker of all ROMS on this Forum and Mighty is one of my classic Fav's. To show my support I made an banner for FF.
