I've been using the latest version of this ROM since Mike made it available on his site.

I've been experiencing four problems.

The first one is that sometimes I can't get the screen to turn on (either by pressing the power button or sliding the keyboard open). After a couple of minutes it finally does come on.

The second one is that alarms keep going off on their set time even though I've turned them off.

The third one is that the clock on the home screen freezes. If I haven't turned the screen on in a measurable amount of time then turn it on, the clock's time is what it was before I turned the screen off then it quickly catches up. This is something that happened all the time on my original Touch / Vogue.

The fourth one is that bluetooth devices I've paired and set to automatically connect sometimes won't connect unless I first disable bluetooth, soft reset then enable bluetooth again.

These paired devices are set to "Connections Authorized" in the bluetooth settings (tab that shows paired devices, tap and hold device then tap on "Properties").

Ok, so far I've found that Ziggy's htcservices cab has fixed the screen turning on problem.

I still haven't found solutions for the other three issues.

Your third problem is a natural problem...there really isn't a fix for it...kinda a bugger but I just deal with it..

Couldn't get that version you posted of dafunk's mod'd bilbobrian taskbar to work (some taskbar icons did not take) but I did get his new 6.5 one to work - it's attached here on xda:

MordyT,

Just curious what causes people to have the SOD issue vs. myself for instance that has not had that problem?

The SOD is an anomoly that nobody fully understands and is very difficult to replicate on demand in most situations. Nobody has found an exact cause or fix for it (although certain "band-aid" fixes sometimes get posted), it happens at random to some (not all) users, and has happened on almost every single WinMo phone out there since WinMo 5.

Some believe it is caused by the phone locking up when a program or process is hogging the CPU, some experience it when using different radios, and some believe it is an issue with the actual Windows CE 5.2 kernel itself

Truth be told, we will probably never find out exactly why it occurs before WP7 is released and 6.5 is shelved
