As Mike said, it's not compressed, but I did post the CFCd version a while ago, here's the links again:

Click Here to Download Manila patched with CFC

Click Here to Download all the Manila files CFCd

I also added these to Post #6 for others to find faster.

Do I need to install both of these, or one or the other...

You only really need to install the patched Manila, but you only need this if you're planing on installing a theme that is already CFC compressed.

Hi all,
does any one have any idea on how to disable the Keyboard Vibration on Mighty`s 032310 Release please?
Thanks

Edit the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\ezsip]
"VibrationEnabled"=dword:00000000

I have this saved and use Sashimi to set it up for me everytime I hard reset.

Strange behavior...

About two weeks ago, I noticed when using the latest ROM I had trouble copying files to the Micros SD card using the PC. A small 1MB file would say it was going to take 20 minutes to copy. My first thought was my card was going out or had a format glitch. I backed it up and reformatted. Nope.. that didn't help. I bought an 8 GB to replace my 16. That one had the same issues.

Last resort... reflash the ROM. That fixed it. I haven't installed anything since the initial flashing/installation process. It just started on it's own. Thought I'd mention it to see if anyone else has seen this problem.

No offense, you're a nice guy... thank you so much for changing to a marginally better avatar. I was getting tired of looking at your face every two posts.

Keep up the good work.

So your saying a cartoon avatar is only marginally better than the real me? Wow, I must be pretty ugly.

I am in agreement with you 100%!

Without DisableSlideWakeup installed, a magnetic passed by the bottom or the hard button keys on the phone, does indeed wake the phone in landscape mode, and then switches to portrait.

I then instlled the DisableslideWakeup.cab, then performed a soft reset. Once powered back on, I used a program called TurnOffTheLights, which turns off the screen. I passed the magnet over the same areas and nothing happened, the phone stayed in sleep.

Maybe people are not softresetting after cab install?

I'm not sure I agree with this. Unless HTC have surreptitiously changed the hardware design of the slide wakeup function, it does indeed work on magnets (more precisely, a magnet in one half and a magnetic reed switch in the other). (The G-sensor is not involved, just to quell that rumor.) The DisableSlideWakeup cab alters the registry setting that causes the phone to come out of standby when the magnetic reed switch is triggered. The net effect is that errant magnets passing over the bottom fourth of the phone (from cases or otherwise) can no longer wake the phone.

Yet now a new wrinkle -- jstn76rs has a phone that WILL apparently still wake up from a passing magnet even though the slide-wake function *is* correctly disabled by the cab. If this is really true (and I have no reason to doubt it since he said it) then his phone is definitely unique compared to all the other TP2's I have seen. Anyone else observe this? If you have installed DisableSlideWakeup, could you try running a magnet or two around the bottom fourth of the phone (around the zoom bar is usually the sweet spot) and report back?

And to jstn76rs -- just curious, I see you have a Sprint phone. Can you tell me how long you've had it? Is it relatively new?

Wow, things are boring without regular ROM updates -- I've resorted to caring about magnets. :)

I perform a soft reset after almost every cab I install, but this happens no matter what for me. I'll just have to live with it. oh well. thanks for looking into it guys.

Does anyone else find that Voice Command really makes your phone act wonky? When I have it enabled, and I plug in a pair of headphones, 8 out of 10 times Voice Command for some reason thinks I am trying to tell it something.

Also, a lot of times when I call people in my car (I use a headphone jack to my axillary port for music and phone call making through my car speakers) they cannot hear me for a good 5 seconds or so. I am thinking voice command is causing this because when I disable it that never happens.

I don't even use voice command, except that it appears to be the only way to get my phone to pronounce the name of who is calling. Is there another program that does that besides voice command?

i have that same problem but i cant seem to disable voice command. i go into the settings and disable it but it just re-enables itself after i close out of the program.

Just go into your Windows/Startup folder and delete VoiceCommand.ink

This will do the trick after you reboot.

However, I really miss the feature of my phone announcing who is calling. If there's a way to have that feature without using VoiceCommand I'd love to know about it!
