has anybody else tried "jiggling" a usb cord in the Ext-USB port at the bottom and pressing the power button during SOD? it works for me. looks like a hardware issue from my end.

Its not my task bar. That's just a SS from the original modder. You probably have to hunt it down on XDA. It looks like it's GSM as well. Sorry, if I could I would.

No worries bro. Thanks anyway! thanks given as well

I still haven't found solutions for the other three issues.

I was actually really optimistic about that fix since I've been running it for a few days with no issues -- but *just now* I had my first SOD on the new HTCServices cab. Sadness. (I guess "sleep of death" is a bit of a misnomer because in this case I just left things alone for a few minutes and it turned on just fine when I picked it up again.) Not saying the Ziggy fix doesn't work -- but there might be more than one cause of the screen not turning on.

Tangentially, has anyone tried the new Mr. X ROM that allegedly fixes memory leak (or perhaps better said, poor memory allocation) issues? I'm not running anything on top of the current MightyROM except for Cookie's Home Tab, but I notice my memory dwindling throughout the day until I'm at about 85% to 89% used. Wondering if anyone has tried Mr. X and seen different behavior?

There is no way regardless of what someone says to effectively control the memory leak in WM6.5 .... the allocation is done through NK.exe which we on the CDMA end got screwed on with this last "Official" Sprint ROM .... now to completly kill the SOD issue within this ROM Mighty will have to use an older kernal .... most of the problems in the new sprint base are due to the 2.04 kernal after swapping this my issues went away and hopefully for all the MR users it will do the same ....

I have tried Mr. X's new ROM and did find some better memory management with it, but overall like the Mighty ROM base ROM look and feel. I am sure that had I used it more than 2 days, I could have grown to get used to it, but I guess I am loyal to MR.

Overall, i stayed between 65% and 75% with it vs. my 75% to 85% with MR.

I would have to disagree with your memory leak statement of "There is no way regardless of what someone says to effectively control the memory leak in WM6.5"

There is a noticable difference of roughly 10% savings with Mr. X's ROM vs. the 3.23 Mighty ROM. The memory savings is presented both with a fresh reboot prior to going to bed and leaving it on overnight and with normal daily use I saw roughly 10% lower memory use with Mr. X.

Give the 4-10 Mr. X ROM a go and see what you experience.

I think the point was that there is still a memory leak on WM phones or OS. some more than others but there is still a leak.

I guess when I read that there was no effective way to prevent memory leak, and I experienced at least a 10% memory savings with Mr. X, that to me means that Mr. X effectively reduces memory to some degree.

While I will agree with you that memory loss still exists, 10% savings seems pretty effective, wouldn't you agree?

Hi all,
I just want to report for whoever might be wondering that I have installed the latest version of Cookie Home Tab on Mighty`s Latest ROM Version and it works like a charm.
