i am getting no sound on my video files in album when converted to mp4. my unconverted avis dont seem to want to play in album either and cant play in windows media player. this seems to have been a problem in the 3/23 release also. is there a fix for this?

Ok, my MR - SE Battery Life Testimonial!!

So, left the house at 12PM today (unplugged as we left) and just got back (7:15PM) and battery is down to only 90%, w00t!!

Had Lotus Notes Traveler (direct push corp e-mail) running, gmail sync every 15 mins, about 30 mins of Opera time, about one hour of Slacker streaming, and took two 30 sec cam vids.

I didn't believe my eyes, so did a soft reset, and sure enough was still 90%.

P.S. CleanRAM doesn't like this new ROM, screen gets frozen every once (scheduled run) in a while and requires a reset. Don't think I need it anyways, my Mem Usage stays very low!!

Alright fellos. Idk whats going on here. Trying to upgrade to the 05.05.2010 release and when I go to update, as soon as it starts it goes to the bootloader screen and thats it. Progress shows 0% and after awhile it says ERROR [260]: CONNECTION "The Update Utility cannot connect to your PDA". Yes, I have a activesync connection before I start, and yes it is flashed, I even tried to re-flash to see if that would work. Any ideas!? Im stumped. Thanks

Why can I never get this good battery life! I must be using my phone a lot more then I think haha Mine shot from 23%->10%, so watch out! lol

Aww lol, I haven't used Dusk in forever, but I was in MR. X's thread today and saw it lol oh well!

I wouldn't know lol but hey at least I'm proud to be a :newb: Hopefully once I get done with all my Programming classes, I can start doing non-noob things lol

try putting it into bootloader before you start the flash. power the phone off. then hold the "Volume Down" button while powering it on. it will load into bootloader. then connect via usb and start the RUU.

NOTE: make sure you dont have a RHODIMG.nbh file on your sd card.

So I ahve tried both SE and FF - and both on first boot are awesome, I get everything set up the way I want it, and reboot phone, and it hangs at teh htc screen, then I pull battery and turn back on and it hard resets. I can flash normal offical rom without any problem. I am using Sprint radio 2.32.00WF.. I notice this happens only after I get it set to sync wiht my corp email...via activesync, anyone experiencing this issue, or anyone help me out?

alright.. ive been recently been having this problem.. or at least just noticed that i was having this problem.

outgoing texts seemingly failing more often. usually i dont fail outgoing unless im coincidentally receiving a text/call.

anyone experiencing the same?

Im using the carbon clock on FF and it seems to be working quite well. MR Glossed carbon clock.
Looks kind of like the dusk clock...which is what I was looking for.

way strange... usually that solves the "failed to connect" issue... have you tried flashing another ROM (maybe stock), or task29?

Also experiencing this with SE and OF. I'm pretty sure it's the slacker update, and not the ROMs fault, although I haven't backtested with the slacker update.

Doesn't seem to impact program functions, just looks a little goofy.

edit: no way to check this out since running the old slacker version forces the "mandatory update". I'm going with definitely a slacker design faux pas.

i found a file called: Album%20HotFix%20-%204_10_10[1] which seems to do absolutely nothing. can you provide more information?

when i installed this, the battery percentage is there perfectly, but the taskbar has a transparent/whitish background. only the icons have a black background

is it possible to have this with a black background like stock??

It's easy to fix. Install the theme, install the service packs, soft reset, and THEN go to the SMS tab and delete the message. It works just fine in that order for me. Its IMPERATIVE that you DO NOT go to the messages tab until AFTER the service packs are installed.

No worries. I read the other persons answer and still had issues. Are you installing taskbars, clocks and other addons. I was trying to get my phone as seen in the xda theme posts but I never got all the way there. any thoughts? I just did the theme and the fix after a fresh flash of official.

What this cab does is fixes the screen rotation of the pictures when your in landscape mode. For example when in landscape and you press to view a picture, the picture will be cut off in portrait mode. This cab hot fixes that. The first picture will still be kinda glitchy, but after it adjusts itself it should work as its suppose to.

So i really like the new roms, very stable. However the removed startbutton/ relocated softkeys on the FF roms really bothers me. Its just weird and really moving the button to the bottom it in reach of my hand, makes me think Mighty is left handed cause if he was right handed he would be annoyed with top left startmenu, lol.

if you want regular start menu, run the official or SE build.

im on the official rom and im not getting my emails pushed in from my enterprise server i have to click send and recieve is there a problem? should i try a hard reset?

YES!!! SE taskbar works without a sim in! without getting that weird Icon. I couldnt of asked for nething better since I run about half time in android and cannot have a sim in for that.

This is pretty much the new preferred method of flashing. instead of flashing back to stock ROM, then flashing to new ROM, task29 clears the ROM from your phone. literally, your phone will not boot up, as it has no ROM to boot. see instructions in the thread (link above)

This rom doesn't have swype, but if you search this thread the cab for it has been posted.

I am running FF and am finding it really stable, fast and responsive. Also, battery life kicks a$$.

So when I flashed FF or SE - I install the following cabs, and set up exchange email...When I soft reset phone it hangs at the HTC load screen, I have to pull battery and then turn back on then it boots and erases itself... I can flash the "Offical" roms and install same cabs and have no problem. I loved IMPACT, and while I was playing with FF loved it to. SE was slick it had 99% of all my cabs already installed in it so that it saved me time... I do not do anything via script, it is all manual install - sorry just never learned how to do scripting on the phone, willing to learn if there is an easy to follow guide. Below are the cabs I install...I am using 2.32.00WF Sprint Radio (from their 6.5 rom). I haven ot purchased the phone unlock from cmex, have not seen a need for it yet....
