As I understand it there is no way of fixing the "cant tell who's calling" bug? I went back to the "stylus friendly" 6.5 because of this... neodium (with titanium) These 2 things are deal breakers for me...

Does anyone else besides us have this problem? My phone rings and the HTC incoming call screen doesn't appear, so you have no idea who's calling. Is there a fix for this?

Edit.. I need help finding where to take out Lumos from the start up programs. I got a minor error upon boot this morning after just removing the folder from Program Files. I'm searching around in Registry Editor and I can't find it
Its not in registry. Using Resco Explorer (or its equivalent - I don't know if you can use FileExplorer for this) go to \Windows\Startup. Now delete the Lumos.lnk that you find here.

Excellent! Glad you are diggin' it.[/QUOTE]

really thanx tho. my bad if i sounded like a prick, everyone interpets things different and people r pushy/snotty whn someone like u or any other chef is tryn to make our experience better. and it was jus that one feature that would have been a deal breaker cuz i promote events. thats for helpin. ive tried alot of roms and i like each one for different things but ur really stands out cuz of speed and multi taskin i can do. its crazy i always have 111mb, i can muilti task like 6 apps and it never drops down passed 85mb available and can switch to txt instantly and i can txt with no wait or lag. waitin for my typing to pop up 3-4 sec after its been pressed was very annoyin. all apps work correctly! man i love it bro no homo lol. if anyone wants to kno im with sprint, page pool 8, apps: FIM,fusion visual voice mail, clean ram, tcmp, omarket, sms cloud,oc apps but havent used them yet, like 8-10 different battery saver things, ect. ill post it l8r if anyone cares but jus want to give my input on an amazing rom.

FIX for INPUT settings:

If you need to see "Input" in Settings, do this:

Using your favorite registry editor, go to:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]

Here, you will find a key called "Redirect" value"

Delete this key. Reset.

UGh, thank god! I just started using Swype and it was starting to get severely annoying that fingerkeyboard would keep setting itself as default.

Won't stick after a soft reset though....

This is definitely one of the best ROMS out there, I got the phone the first week it came out. I was real happy with 6.1 and my tweak cabs, virtually no problems and ran very fast. I only started flashing because I assumed I could get a 6.1 ROM all ready cooked like the way I had it tweaked with cabs.

That really never happened and I just started trying ROMS and some have worked great for a while and then they petered out.

Then I realized that my 6700 ran problem free for a long time on a DCD ROM that was just a modified home screen, until I decided to flash a manila ROM. Ever since then I have nothing but problems with manila.

What I would love to see is just more refinement to make this ROM even better, I think I'm in for the long haul with this phone until they release a suitable replacement for it, so I need to get something reliable sorted out before everyone moves onto "giant screen android" phones.

Personally I'd like to see:

*1. Icons showing up in SPB Menu, I normally wouldn't care but this stops me from using quick links and "advanced mode favorites and recent" because things just show up as a transparent white windows with blue top bars.

For my Skyfire's Icon and the repacked OCT v1.5, which ninjaduck made icons for, are the biggest one's for me that I would love to see working. Here is the ninjaduck repack with icons.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...-shortcut.html

*2. I'd like to be able to keep Swype as a default input method if I want to, maybe not all the time, but at least when I set it.

*3. Is there a way to make a "favorite contacts" shortcut that I can put on my home screen? The shortcut in the program folders goes to "all contacts". Even better would be a widget to the "contacts carousel", but favorites would be the priority.

*4. Not a big deal, (or if it it's possible) but It would be great if I could click on the battery widget and it opened an actual battery monitoring program link in maxsense, I'm constantly checking my current draw to maximize battery life. But I think that without manila it never really draws enough current to sap the battery quickly, so I probably won't be doing that as much. So not a big deal, I do have the program shortcut widget on my desktop. It would be super cool to have a current drain monitor on the home screen, not sure how much juice that would use though? 30mah?

----------------------------------
These are tweaks I do to any ROM, you may or may not want to incorporate into yours, if it's even possible. Not a huge deal, only takes me a few minutes to adjust these settings.

*1. I delete the notification that turns on activesync all the time. This doesn't stop it from working, just not running all the time until you plug in. Taskmanager works a lot faster because it doesn't have to close activesync every time you hit "Close All"

It's "repllog.exe" in notifications if anyone is interested, there are three of them, you only want to delete the one that has the description of "AppRunAfterTimeChange" or something like that.\

*2. Change network from "Global" to "CDMA", no point wasting battery and resource searching for a GSM signal I'm not using.

That's all I can think of at the moment, awesome ROM other wise, thanks for the hard work!
