[ROM] Verizon MR2 Fixed by Mr. X, Boots with an unlocked device - Page 11

so i can't get past 0% when running this program. me tp2 goes to the tri-color screen, the loading bar shows up and then: nothing. it's 0% till my pc gives up and ask me if it's plugged in.

what's going on?

Try flashing using the sd card. You rename the .nbh to something and press some buttons on your phone. I know that's really specific

thanks for the advice

i tried it and no luck, stops at the same place... i bought the phone used with a custom rom already installed, does it need to be unlocked a second time?

It doesn't need to be unlocked unless the seller re-locked it before sending it to you. If it says olinex on the second line of the tri-color boot screen, then it is unlocked.

I really don't see a reason to relock a phone after unlocking it.

Are you going to upgrade your build to MR3 ? New radio and the download is 173mb, but, no one is 100% what is changed besides the radio (WM version is the same).

I second DavidinCT above. I am wondering the exact same thing. I just got my TP2 and would like to use the stock rom until I've cooked up something better. From what I read in the differences, the main difference between MR2 and MR3 is the radio. The radio has had some kind of security fix.
