it not very common to happen, but mem cards or files on the mem card can become corrupt at any time. It's just one possibility to rule out by removing it.
So the stock 6.1 ROM works great, no issues at all. Tried unlocking and installing this again, and still am having issues. No mem card installed either. Did a fresh install last night and and then this moring about 30 miniutes after I pulled it off the carger, it froze up while texting (hadn't even loaded contacts or aything in) and I had to soft reset it, which actually did a hard reset again.. Then later today, it did a SOD on me and I had to soft reset which did a hard reset again... I think I am just going to re-lock and go back to 6.1, never had any issues with that. Bummer, I think I would have liked 6.5

dang...maybe you got a bad download.

Yeah maybe, I am going to try downloading it again and see if it changes anything, but I am getting frustrated with my phone not working when I need it to :)

Setting the backlight to stay on when plugged in solved this for me. I agree 6.1 just worked, and had nice functional screens w/out this b.s. animated weather crap, and other things that lock the phone up, but with this ROM and Cookie's Home Tab mod, things are looking up.[-o<

i don't think so, but mr.x said it has to be. so, i would go with what he said. he knows WAY more then me.

So I just want to clarify for my own sanity.
The stock MR2 contains a radio update, but Mr.X fixed MR2 update does not?

Does anyone know how to get rid of "0 New Voicemail" on the home screen and change it back to "Calendar"? It looks horrible!
