I am a total newbie around these parts - in fact, this is my first post.

I want to download this, but I just wanted to ask, do I need to do a hard reset before I download this, or am I able to just download it without any pre-installation work.

I am downloading this because no matter what I do, my Sprint TP2 Win Mo 6.5 is glacially slow. Especially when it comes to text messaging and looking up contacts. I hope that this makes things much faster!

Nope. This ROM is totally catered to Sprint users and MMS works our of the box.

I Hear your pain and welcome aboard. you have a lot of reading ahead of you before you jump in and flash a ROM. start here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93252 to read about what you have to do to unlock your phone BEFORE installing any ROMS. also make sure your using a ROM designed for your network ( CDMA vs GSM ) or you'll be the proud owner of a shiny brick before you know it. don't be afraid to try it but read read and read againand make sure you follow directions EXACTLY and it will save you a lot of headaches. I you run into trouble look in these forums and chances are somene has had the exact same problem and now knows the answer. good luck and have fun

I PMed him like he asked. Now we wait to see what happens in this thread.

You stated that if we PMed you that you would be able to assist with issues. Basically what happens is that the dialer breaks when the phone is opened and closed, but can be fixed by opening up and closing again sometimes twice.

The part of the dialer that breaks is that the number pad does not show and stays transparent. In the previous build this issue was not present. But the previous build has some other dialer issues.

Can you please provide a fix?

I'v been using this rom since it was posted, and like other roms... over time it tends to feel slower. So lately Iv been using with windows default 6.5. home screen instead of the HTC sense. and that helps make the phone feel more stable and snappier (even though I prefer sense in general). But just now I figured I'd try this with the "ClearType" Disabled.... and I don't know if its just me, but now it feels even snappier! can anyone else confirm?

P.S. Battery life has never been better!

Thanks for the ROM, I was using the MaxSense ROM and I had to reset 5-6 times a day. With this, I haven't had to do that. MMS works with no tweaks, I appreciate you making this phone workable.
