Yes man this is as Stock as you will ever get a 6.5.x ROM! Its fast!! Its stable!! Reliable!! I effin love this ROM and I have flashed damn near everything on this site!! I too was asking myself.."Where have you been?" When I tried his 6.5 Stock Sprint Lovers ROM. I was hooked since then. I love Mighty's Full Force, but this ROM is where its at for me. Everything just works like its suppose to without any extra cabs. All the cabs you add are for your own customizations. I too am waiting for this new update!

I'm tempted to flash, but I've been so satisfied with 4/16 that I feel no need to, and that's saying something, because I used to flash every other day.

I know exactly what you mean. 4-16 is still the sh*t in my book. I was just curious about the 6.5.x builds and then fell in love with the build itself but could not find a cook that built it with all the stuff I enjoy in a ROM. Then Chris chimes in that he was going to cook one and I was all on it!! I love 4-16 but the 6.5.x is just as good to me. I love the buttons at the bottom. thats the only reason i havent spent time on flashing a 6.5.x build cuz they were always loaded w/ themes n all kinds of apps (expecially since it seems i never use those cooked in apps but varients of it)

Well see Chris is some what of a perfectionist so the reason for the Beta might have been cuz 6.5.x is not perfect enough to call it an official.

And I know exactly what you mean about cooks cooking in all kinds of extra stuff, but this ROM is ALL STOCK. Nothing extra other than a few tweaks here and there that Chris does himself. And he also added the stealth wifi internet sharing which was the deal killer for me. A STOCK SPRINT ROM with STEALTH TETHERING?? Im sold!! I think you will like it. Chris has definitely set the bar for any ROM that I flash.

Nope, doesn't need to be cooked in. Got a cab for XDA_UC that I install on Chris' ROMs, and it works fine! Cab attached. When you install it, do a soft reset before using it!

chris idk if im the only 1 but when i installed ur first beta i had multiple soft resets by itself , im downloading beta 2 and see if it happens on that 1 , i use task 29 and then i install ur rom

I have installed 4/16 and found it to be excellent and am awaiting a new ROM. The only fly in the ointment is that it took the better part of a day to get everything re-installed and settings restored. I would suspect that there's a better way to accomplish the process. Would somebody please point me in the right direction? I've seen something called XGA_UC but have not been able to decipher the process. I'm new enough to WM (former Palm OS) that there are a lot of "what the hell does this mean" being uttered.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks

In time I will update with a CAB pack like the one for the 2.5 ROM but I have not yet tested all of the CAB's in the other thread. You guys are more than welcome to use them and post your findings!

Tethering works fine for me both via USB and Wi-Fi router and is of course stealth as in my other roms.

I have not had any issues with the phone resetting. Check and see what applications you have installed as more than likely somehting you installed is not playing nice.

They should..use them and report back!

Man thanks Chino!! Thats whats up!! I love XDA!

Most of the cabs if not almost all of them will work on this ROM. I have used just about all of them from the 6.5 thread and have had no issues.

No problem. To use XDA_UC you just create a folder called XDA_UC on the main part of your storage card. And copy all your cabs or what not into that folder. Chino has uploaded the XDA_UC cab if you need it. Then after it is installed go to your start menu and find the XDA_UC icon and press it and then it will instruct you from there what to do. It runs silently in the back once it starts so you wont be able to see it installing the cabs. When its done it will tell you it is complete and for you to hit ok and soft reset. Your all done.

Yes man it is way faster IMO. The only thing is that with the 6.5 ROM there were really no glitches whats so ever because there was an official release. The 6.5.x has not had an official release so there are a few glitches but nothing major for you to really notice. Just some minor cosmetic things. You will see once you start playing around with it.

Anyone using this a Twitter user? For some reason I can't log on through the Tab like I could in the "official" version. I've verified that I can log on to Twitter via my browser on my laptop, so that isn't the problem. I've checked and rechecked to make sure I'm entering my login information correctly as well. Not a deal breaker, as I also own Twikini, but I like using the Tab since it is available.

I can't log into Twitter either. Maybe an issue on Twitters end for mobile devices. Just going to try later to see if I can log in.

I prefer Sashimi. It makes it easy to backup the registery setting and restore them as well as automate WiFi, exchange email settings and such.

You can do anything with both of them, I just prefer Sashimi as it seemed to include some automation for getting all those settings out of your preconfigured phone so that you can restore them.

I tried logging in there as well as through the client tab: no go.

Also I read someone experienced resets. I had a reset suddenly occur tonight, as well as a freeze up that required a battery pull. Sadly, I'm going back to the little slower but stable 4/16. Best ROM I've ran thus far.

Chris, I was using the Twitter tab just fine with your 21889 Official ROM, as well as the original stock Sprint 6.5 ROM. I also installed my Twikini client and logged right in on this ROM, so it doesn't appear to be Twitter itself.

No the Stock works. And I am on your 6.5.x and its working for me as well.

Well I have flashed this and other ROMs and back to this and everything is working okay for me. Dont know what could be the problem.

Question: Is anyone out there who is savvy with the designs create a tsk that is all black...but has the round bottom buttons??? Like if you go to start-settings-today and change the tsk to lets say classic blue. The buttons turn round, but the bottom softkey color is like an off grayish blue. Any way to make it completely black with the round buttons?? :)

I bet if you flashed back to this ROM and try logging into Twitter from the Account Manager it will work for you. Do not install any cabs, just log into Twitter.

The first thing I do after installing a ROM is hard reset. Then, before I install any cabs, I always log in to Twitter, Facebook, and then set up my Activesync connection. I wasn't able to login to Twitter that way nor through the tab itself, until I installed Twikini. I'd give your suggestion a try but I didn't see enough in this unofficial version that I'm willing to take the time to restore everything again at this point.
