this might be the longest i havent flashed a rom. i even got 2 the point i installed all kind of new apps an such just 2 break it so i could start over w/ hard reset but everything is still running good. and any probs in the rom are, @ least 2 me, not even noticable to cause a problem.

Does the updated Manilla 2.5.2013 take care of any of the graphic issues?

I would love love love if you fixed the Pause/Play music with the 2.5mm headphones remotes to work like it does with the stock sprint rom.

Should have a fresh update for you guys within the hour. It will have the incoming call gap fixed as well as support for an incoming phone call if the phone's display is slid out. (For some reason the default phone canvas from the stock sprint rom doesnt seem to show an incoming call when the screen is slid out and a call comes in.) Anyways, the phone canvas still lacks some landscape features but works great for me in portrait (the only positional issue I noticed is when the save to contacts page comes up there is the small gap on top but barely noticable). I have also changed the today wallpaper to show some HD MINI love since it was the standard background for the 6.5.3 system. Hope you guys enjoy! Ill try to post some screenshots in a few minutes.

Does anyone else use the stock lock screen? When I get a text message and swipe at the text unlock icon it unlocks the phone to the WM text service instead of the sense text service like the stock rom does. Is it just me?

Thats a good thing....HTC messaging blows!

I am having the same problem I believe others have reported. The phone is beginning to hang, requiring a soft reset. This is happening with ever increasing frequency. I have confirmed that there are not many tasks running simultaneously. I also emptied as many temp folders as I could find. Neither helped.

Any ideas as to what I might do?

Not really... I happen to like sense messaging more. WM messaging tends to lock up when you have too many messages and there is more of a lag when the keyboard pops up.

Are you using the latest rom or an earlier one? What else do you have installed?

I had this problem once after I flashed, so I did a task29, hard reset after re-flashing, then a soft reset after that. Solid as rock from there on out.

The signal bars will always show unless you terminate the phone connection (flight mode). If you are referring to the data arrows which light upon sending/receiving data then I am afraid I do not have an anwer for you. They stay a light grey when inactive and then light up white when sending/receiving. Even though you may be connected to data your connection is idle unless data is needed.

Riley - they should not do that. I had that problem a while back with some ROMs and thought it was odd, but have not had it since sprint came out with the 6.5 update. This one works for me as Chris stated above. They should turn on and off. Something is off if they are not.

Awesome ROM! I've had the TP2 for about a month now and have been putting off flashing my phone until I could find a good clean 6.5.x ROM. So far everything is great, I do notice a speed increase over the stock 6.5.

The only negative I have noticed so far is the icons on the bottom bar in my mail app are not accurate. In both SMS and Outlook accounts the reply and delete icons are all the same as the menu icon. Is this a bad flash? I did a task29, flashed, then hard reset. Overall great work, my OCD will just have to suck it up as this minor con in no way outdoes the pros, would like to see that fixed with a cab or in a future release.

One more bottom bar icon that is messed up is the All contacts icon displays like this (OK All...)

Last but not least: I don't think this is a ROM issue, but does anyone know why at first my Outlook account displayed the inbox with a message preview but after switching to store attachements on storage card it changed back to just sender and subject?

I am having a problem syncing my text messages through MyPhone. When I run MyPhone, it starts running, then it gets partially through downloading text messages and freezes. I can go to the start menu, can scroll through the icons, but I can't get into any of the icons. They light up when I push them, but that's it. Then, when I try and close the start menu, it just freezes the phone. I have to hard reset the phone, and when I do, it runs back through like it's a fresh install. Not sure what can be causing it at this point, but I am going to re-flash and see if that does the trick. I'm running the 05/26/2010 version. I will give you a heads up with my findings.

Well, now it looks like my phone is not starting up. It gets to the HTC splash screen, then nothing. The display will dim, then turn off. Can't turn it back on. What am I doing wrong, and how can I fix my phone?

Well, now I got it to start back up. I did the hard reset (Talk, End, and Power Keys to turn phone on) but now it's like every time I run MyPhone to get my stuff back, it locks up, or it won't sync, or whatever. And if I do a soft reset (Hold power button down, select Yes to turn phone off) then turn the phone back on, it runs through again like the phone has been re-flashed. This is all to strange. I think I may revert back to a different ROM for now.

you didn't answer my question though....what hspl do you have....you may run into the same issue if you have the outdated hspl...those are the symptoms...

I'm running this one:

But it boots fine, it just freezes a lot. I don't know how it would be the bootloader if it freezes.

I had the exact same problem way back until I went from version 1 to version 3....it was restarting like it was a fresh flash...upgraded to version 3 and never happened again...these phones are so fricking weird sometimes...

you can also try Task 29 before flashing....

i had thought that the newer versions of hspl was mainly for the phones that got shipped after the release date (having weird issues)?? am i wrong to assume/think thats right? i still have the same tp2 that was shipped on release date and once the hspl got released (used that version) havent messed w/ that since. im not having any weird issues but have seen this mentioned a couple times.

but also thought i seen you on the tp2 section of this board since the start, and you said you upgraded the hspl? so have me curious as to what im missing or dont know. thanks if you can explain

I can't get the download link to work. I get to the 4share download, click the download, wait my 90 seconds, click the newly appeared download link, and then end back at the original download link. I don't get any download like normally.

Can anyone else download?

Not sure why you're seeing that. Mine boots up fine and displays the home screen and the Change Mode screen after flashing..

me either. what i did 1st was flash the rom from your last rom..thats when i 1st noticed it. then i flashed stock, hr, then flashed yours, then hr. w/ still the same results. i will check if it happens after each reboot and report back.

also noticed a couple other things...the sound & display/notification sounds (directly from settings tab) dont sync up w/ the settings/sounds & notifications settings. i 1st set up my notifications up threw the settings tab from sense. then i just went 2 check it directing from the settings menu and they did not take. so then i set it up agian threw the setting menu, then went back 2 the settings tab to see if that took but it didnt (all notifications are reverted to twitter sound) but my notifications are correct (after setting it up threw the settings menu) so that seems broked from the setting tab on sense.

also...in settings/personal/phone settings there is not option for the cdma settings section (prepend, etc). there is 4 gsm but its all greyed out. but network set 2 cdma only (since i dont have the sim card in) another thing in the phone settings is the advanced section (w/ reject call w/ txt, or add phone # after call, etc.) is smushed 2 fit only half of screen (very small) expecially compared 2 the rest.

thats all i noticed 4 now, let me know if you need me explain more or if you need a ss. also let me know if this is not what you see and its just me, if it is then i dunno has me

I always saw this, and it's common for 6.5. All you have to do is hit "Cancel" and it goes away.

I got the same thing this morning. The dialer wasnt center and at the bottom. It was mid way up the screen and half the dialpad was off the right side of the screen.

Thank Chris, love the rom! Best one I've used so far.

I'd like to point out one small issue I've had. It's only a minor inconvenience but it's kind of strange. When transferring my phone contacts from my previous rom (stock sprint 6.1) with sprite backup, it seems like the format for phone numbers has changed. Incoming calls or texts will not match numbers with the correct name in my contact list. Instead of seeing "Tyler" I see "3091234567" despite the numbers being identical. The only difference in the previous format is the presence of parenthesis and hyphens, which seems to be enough to prevent it from recognizing the number as a saved contact.
