tried that. it turns off yes, i knew that ...
but that did not resolve my PRL update problem. so i took the stylus out, took the back off and hit the reset on the side.

I then could update my PRL and profile.
I think the soft reset does a little more that just turn off the phone....
but what the hell do i know :P
thanks for your response, maybe someone could elaborate on the differences of a power off, soft reset, standbye modes for the touch pro 2
