Timberwolf just a suggestion but maybe you could keep your past roms up for us to flash and reflash. Each one has its own distinct features & had no serious problems.

I myself have saved all your past versions however I wasnt near a computer when you posted V8 & 8.1 so I feel like I missed out.

Im a Timberwolf rom addict haha I just wish I had more TP2's to have its rom TW rom.

I remove V8 because the opera launched from the internet tab would lock the phone. Everything else works in V8, I think it was becuase of some shortcut files I deleted in that build. I will would on getting the build used in V8 (build 23569) working. Working on getting a better looking dialer to work.

ok, thanks. After turning weather off and doing a couple resets, it seems better speedwise. I'll run it for a bit and report. Cheers.

Quick edit - when using google maps, and pressing the little blue dot to find your location, a message comes up saying "current location is temorarily unavailable". Anybody else getting this?

I updated the video driver, maybe that's why. Try going into the tools folder and select 3d graphics on and see if that helps. Now that you mention it, I notice the weather graphics was slow but was to focused on on other things.. Will need to work on why?

I was using GoogleMaps all day and had the same issue. Takes awhile to get it to recognize your location. Is it because there is not AGPS on the ROM? That usually allows a quick "general" location find before actual GPS lock.

The 3D Graphics did not help.

Enough complaining. Great ROM. Just flashed over from NRGZ Cookie and love what you have done. If all goes well over the next couple days then a bartender is needed.

Have you used quick gps? I think it basically does what AGPS did (update sat locations). Go into start menu > tools and open quick gps. I always set it to download automatically but I think I'm always flashing before it updates LOL. Hit the the download button and you should get fast gps locks.

I always use QuickGPS before starting Google Maps. It definitely makes a huge difference. I was guessing with the AGPS.

I have never seen this issue with Google Maps before having flashed 100 times with my Omnia and now a dozen or so with my TP2. Google Maps is my #1 used app on my phones. It should immediately put your location within 1800m after hitting the blue button. Doesn't do that on this ROM.

QuickGPS is in the rom. Will auto update everytime you active sync or WMDC with your PC, or once a week with data connection if turned on in QuickGPS to auto update. The default is set to only with active sync., since not everyone has or wants to pay for data connection.
