Anyone know what "20 Pixel Snap" is under Max Sense Settings?

Makes aligning widgets easier. There is an invisible 20 pixel "grid" that the widgets will "snap" to when placing them.

It limits flexibility slightly, but IMHO it makes for a much better looking home page since things will actually line up with little effort.

Let me make one thing very clear! Yes I plan on getting an EVO, but the TP2 will stay in the family (my wife). So I will still be cooking for the TP2 and learning about the Android EVO at the same time. Time to get my feet wet and ahead of the game with the Android OS. I do not see a bright future for MS and Windows 7 Mobile. Like I said before, if I could have the same phone but with faster CPU I would stay with the TP2. Hell, I have a Sprint Diamond with V10 CHT 1.8.5 running great. Almost as good as the TP2. Remember to keep hitting my rewards card (Thanks) to keep me here. I do this not for money but for pride, honor(insert salute to the american flag here), AND MY REPUTAION!

I feel the same way about Windows Phone. It is just too little too late. It may become a viable entity after some time but it is just too far behind the ball for now. If the HD2 were available for sprint that would probably have been my new phone but alas it was not to be.

As for the Evo, I contemplated it pretty seriously. I even went in to get one a couple weeks ago. I was in on a Wednesday getting a new case for my wife's phone and found out they had several in stock. When I went back on Friday they were all gone. The next week Sprint finally issued a release date for the Epic. When they started taking pre orders on that Friday I bit. The only thing I was worried about with the Evo was the lack of KB support. I do a lot of emailing from my phone and sometimes the SIP's (even Swype) can be cumbersome. With a full hardware keyboard the Epic will have everything I want...I hope....I can hardly wait for the 31st...... I plan on keeping the TP2 around in case I start traveling internationally again (sim card support) so I will likely keep flashing your ROM's just to have something to play with. Maybe I can convince my wife to use it

man, I hate to sound like a noob, but where is the thanks button??? Timber I want to add to your rep: the 8/17 release rocks, with only minor hiccups so far. battery life is good, and it looks awesome. Hell my wife ( who hates my phone) loves it. I want to say thanks properly!

Before you make the jump to the Epic search Google for some video reviews. Spoke with Sprint rep today and they almost had me convinced to go with the Epic until I did some research. When you are watching the video for a clock (there is none except for small one on the top right). 2nd you can not customize your widget's on the seven screens available. Whatever widgets Samsung designed for that screen are the only you can use. No moving around on the screen or moving to another screen. Very restricted on what you can do for a custom look. I think you will be back to TP2 within a week. Spoke with the Best Buy sales person and for $50 I place an order and expect the phone in 1-3 weeks (EVO that is). The Sprint store will not take pre-order, they want you to be at the store when they open and if and I say if they get an order in that day you might get one. time for bed for me good night all.

WTF Don't go TW!

Im staying with TP2 as long as I possibly can.

Dont want the evo. No keyboard, less customization, (not sure about tethering BIG BIG PROBLEM WITH ME!!! Dont want to pay extra for it.) Plus that stupid 10$ extra for 4g even if you dont have coverage. I would litterally be spending around an extra 1000$ a year for the evo vs my TP2. Im on sero plan.

Sigh what a sad day!

I guess I have your roms to keep my entertained. They put my TP2 at a place I didn't think was possible.

So thanks and farewell Now I have to put up with these other chefs and there buggy roms.
