Don't do that just yet, new updated rom on the way tonight. I set page pool back to 6 for the flash. Have now set to 12 again, maybe 16 before I finish tonight.

A quick fix for the ringer volume problem, go to all settings, select sound and display, turn on single volume control, turn off quiet on pickup. Leave Pocket mode to on.

Edit: NO! that didn't do it (Ringer Volume) still working on it. No new rom update tonight. Sound is find in the settings part. But not when you get a call. Need to look at several new packages and see if any of them added this problem.

Problem with contact screen black highlight and blue text fixed.

I don't see any battery issue with this version. While waiting this morning I made 2 phone calls, surf the internet for 15 mins. Listen to 3.5 hours of music and was only down to 57%. As always give the phone & new rom time to settle in after a few days. As I have always said many times, new rom, more playtime at 1st.

Edit: Made sure that weather or email are set auto update. They both do not close data connection after update. This will drain your battery faster!

I don't know much about roms, tweaks, reg edits or some of the settings. But I do know my routine and it doesn't waver much. I flash, set up windows live, set up microsoft my phone, change the default ringer and charge it overnight. That's about it. And I can tell that next morning if I like it or not. Just as I can tell in one day if a rom seems to have great battery life or not. I don't buy into the "run it for several days to let it settle in" theory. But that's my uneducated, but experienced phone user talkin'. Not to run this rom down, I'm just sayin' previous roms of yours have served me better. (the best roms I've ever used have been yours)

I understand you have a routine that you always follow, as most us do on a normal day. It's hard to judge how good or bad battery life for rom till you have used it for a few days. I don't have any facts to back my statement up with. I do know that a certain program running in the background can shorten battery life alot (I think is it gwes.exe, or close to that name). I have request for you. Are willing to try a rom with manila 2016 and xip & sys of 23563 (Excellent base for any rom) as beta tester. Maybe I need to drop back to the 23563, if you willling to test. I will test myself tomorrow and see if anything is different.

did u find out wat the problem is with task bar. its back to original and not the drop down nemore. and cant wait the only problems i noticed was the ringer and task bar other than that had no lag, freeze, and no lock ups. and battery seemd fine to me. as i stated earlier. if u could get task bar back to the drop down version and fix ringer this rom would be about perfect.

I do pretty much the same things on every ROM. I was commenting on the battery life only because it was so out of the ordinary. It won't be a make or break for me after 2 days and as I have always had good luck with these ROMS was just posting my info. I would test any of your ROMS when they are available...

My point with the battery issue is: A fresh rom that has poor battery life in the begining, may improve over next several charging cycles. But I have found it never improves as much as a fresh rom that starts out with good battery life. I think that roms with "good battery life" and roms with "bad battery life" may improve over time equally. So I'll take one that starts out strong from the start.

Again, let may say, you have the best roms out there. It's just that not all change is good change. Sometimes we change for the better, sometimes for the worse. Either way I always hit the button (thanks).

Where do I look for this gwes.exe file?

I'll try/run anything you throw at me.

As T-Wolf stated, I won't profess to be an expert on battery life either, however I flash with 100% by the time I had rebooted and reinstall everything I was down to 45 to 50%. On a new flash the bottom drop out of the battery life. Put on charger for about 4 hours, next day I notice the same as you, battery fell off fast.. now I do push lots of emails and texts. download weather, stocks and facebook..go to the internet.. Now after two days of running the battery seem to be hold charge and lasting longer. I've notice as in past roms, in the beginning if you cycle a lot after a flash the charging state seems to get better...

Here is my my avaluation of the all carrier beta after a full day of using it. THIS ROM IS EXCELLENT!!! VERY VERY fast, the fastest I have used in a long time. Please remember that I have HTC sense turned off and don't use it (in more ways than one). No freezes or lag. Battery is outstanding as well. I drained it completely last night to the point that the phone shut down then started charging. Powered back on and let it complete to 100%. I have used this phone all day (some calls, one lasting 1.5 hours, checking 2 pop3 email accounts every 10 mins received about 200 emails, web on and off all day, and about 30 minuets of Bing navigation through New Orleans to Metairie) and the phone had power for about 10 hours ( usually get only about 6 to 8 before I need to charge. I have low volume as well but it is not a deal killer, just need to turn the ringer up one more notch. I used a cab to turn off HTC volume control and have "quiet ring tone on phone pickup turned off if that makes a difference. Only bigie for me was the contact button/text issue which I saw earlier that you fixed and look awesome... when can I have it?

I agree with going back to 23563 with manila 2016. I don't think 2016 is the problem with battery life. Will build one tomorrow and post a new link for download. Both versions (All Carrier and Sprint) since this a base xip & sys and already tested.
