Thanks, worked great! Had a hard time finding the Leo package, so I thought I'd use the Rhod ones....totally broke sense. I saw some people talking about the twitter thing, but since I don't use it, I didn't research it much. Should have figured they were related problems.

Anyone know how to get rid of the carrier name showing in the top taskbar? Every search I do with "carrier name" or the like in it leads me to posts on the carrier name on the home tab in Sense, but I can't find anything on the carrier name not showing in the taskbar.

Help...

Is this when its locked? I never found a way to do it when its locked, that's the only place I see it on my rom...

Since he mentions the top curtain I think that he's talking about the carrier name where the top curtain is and not the carrier name showing on the top taskbar. This is a relatively new developement, for me anyways. I only started noticing this with the newer Sense packages (2017+) and/or the newer WM builds. I'm not sure which one is the culprit. I would say Sense but damned if I can find out how it's being set.

In any event, I'll have a closer look at that thread and dig in to the home.mode9 file he mentions.

Yeah, I already have those files in my ROM. I've modified them to show the carrier name. If there's way to use these files to show the name in the home tab only and not in the taskbar, I don't know how to do it, and I don't think this particular subject was discussed in that thread as I've read a lot of it. I could be wrong though...

I've also noticed that it doesn't always happen. I haven't been able to figure what triggers it to show or not.

I would say it's the WM build you're using or whatever you did to change the carrier name. I'm currently using build 23699 and the Manila 2019 you posted on mobileu, and I don't get anything in the taskbar.

The stock one? That's part of the sys. You'll find it in common/shell.
