To make it work...

1. Place the file "Packer.jar" in a "work" directory.
2. Make a directory named SYS
3. unarchive your DFT SYS.
4. Copy all the files from ..\DFTSYSName22130\0409 and ..\DFTSYSName22130\COMMON to your directory SYS
5. Run Packer.jar
6. When prompted, for a TP2, enter "0409", "192", "480", "800"
7. Rename your directory "SYS" to "22130"
8. Copy to your kitchens ..\SYS directroy
9. create your ..\ROM folders and DONE!

soooo whats the consensus on manila 2018? who is using it effectively? i feel like complete newb again tryin to get a working 2018

Check the module folders for the duplicate files. That was holding me up for a day or two.
Plus... the HomeScreen Tab is wonky. There are overlaps and the RSS bar is seized (doesn't move & can't be clicked).

Basically, 2017 & 2018 are only WAY faster because they don't have landscape support added.
I've been trying to integrate 2018 with the 2017 Core & Home Tabs. Frankly, I wish I could just get CHT working with either. No Dice. 2016 is sooooo slow for me that I'm debating about going (all the way) back to 2012.1324. hahah.

So I put all the unarchivedx files from andrews 23130 raw fliles into the sys folder and it said

Actually they both do support landscape. When landscape is activated it changes the lua script, messing up both portrait and landscape. programatix has shown how to fix it.

I'm only using the Manila Core 2018 but its FAST!!!

I might try that with 2016 then. My 2016 is pretty fast. As fast as I feel my 2011/2012 ever was...
