Also, very nice screens you've got going on here. I know I'm going to sound like a jerk, but all this discussion of differences in Manilla versions just makes me laugh when you look at the variety that something like SPB MS allows.
I think Manilla looks a LOT better with CHT and/or MaxSense, but it's still Manilla. You can put lipstick on a pig ....

don't think I am using any taskbar icon manager. I'll look at the build log, but pretty sure I am not. The funny thing is that the last time I flashed, the taskbar was perfect with only the 1 custom BT icon.
Yeah, I started using Mobile shell very early on, and don't think I could go back now. CHT and max sense definitely make it better, but I don't think it fixes the lag issues that come with sense constantly trying to build those lists (texts, emails, music, etc). I've seen videos demoing cht and it is always on a fresh flash with no contacts or texts. Though if someone has a video proving me wrong...

Ouch! I for one love my Manila! I think the only reason many people including myself don't use SPB is because it's not free. We are too spoiled in Phoneland these days. We want free! Just my opinion...

Perhaps I will look into SPB Mobile shell. Those screenies do look tight!

No, you're right about CHT causing a lag. While it adds much more functionality, it slows movement from the homescreen down significantly. I finally removed CHT from my ROM last night due to that fact. Perhaps, v1.8.1 will be better, perhaps not...

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

My ROM is cooking with the wrong time/time zone and I seem unable to change the time zone. Can someone point me in the direction of what package/s this is to do with?

Interesting...it looks like 235xx is dead, huh? So what is the "new" 235xx?

Probably still is the best for now but I'm just saying there hasn't been an update to 23569 in quite awhile...

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

I was one of those who swore by 235xx, but I've moved on since it's almost certainly dead. I've been using 23121 for a couple of weeks now, and pleased with it.

At this point, I'll try both 23123 and 24614 and choose one.
