Winmo 6.5 has branched out in to many branches with various phone manufacturers. They are not necessarily in order. The best thing to do is look at the AKU and date. I believe 23135 has the latest date and is 6.5.6?

Here is a description.

There is a thread over at XDA that explains the different branches, and what manufactures they are built for. I'd post a link to it, but I'm at work and don't have it handy.

Edit: It's the XDA link 2 post above this one.

Hey guys

Any one know what makes manila Photo, and Music search for pictures and audio when you slide the tab over them, not sure what I did, but I have to manually search for pictures, and music, it doesn't do it automatically anymore.

I used to see a small icon of the camera, and camcorder, in the photos and videos tab, somehow thats gone, any clue to what package thats from?

Sry for all the questions, but I have my rom at 98%, so the last 2% should only take 3 more years !

Thanks

Edit! Never mind, i'm an idiot...

I flashed a 23135 the other day. It seems like it's a nice build. 23136 just came out so you could try that. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think that you need a fix for the CID on all of the 231xx builds. I have it in my kitchen, and never deselect it on my roms in that branch. the fix is posted several time in the thread. I know I posted the one I use once myself about 100 pages ago. I can't remember if I posted it in OEM or EXT format.

Still a work so I can't post the link.

Good eye hthomas! thanks for the sorted SYS.
I had asked this b4 but I got no answer...
Does the Huashan Dialer have greyed out data arrows?
or is there a version of it that does?

oh, back in the day, the dialer used to control whether or not our taskbar's data arrows would grey out on an idle data connection.
I tried one of the older 5.0.612.xxxx.xxxx Huashan dialers and the data arrows in the taskbar never greyed out. Even on idle data, they were solid.

The best thing I have found for phonecanvas's is to use amarullz's 'No HTC Phone Canvas' mod. With it, sense will interact with any phone canvas you want to use. So, you could use the WM default canvas or a 3rd party one. I really like using PhonEx. It has no problems with caller id screen and works fine on any 6.5.x build I've tried.

I've attached the EXT of amarullz's mod if anyone is interested. Basically, the mod changes a manila file to use ManilaDialer.exe (which amarullz wrote I think) whenever the phonecanvas is called from sense and ManilaDialer.exe dials on whatever phonecanvas is present.

Thanks mwalt2.
This goes in our OEM's?
Does amarullz's 'No HTC Phone Canvas' mod work with the newer manila's (2018xxxx)?

I attached it as an EXT package, so you may need to convert it to OEM if that's what you want. It work's fine with 2018 for me.

Anyone know what I could look for that would cause my rom to act this way: I Flash gets to the RunCC and sits there continuously moving... So i disabled RunCC all together...Then I get to see the start bar at the bottom but a Orange Windows Pic from First boot get static and cursor does not move. At this point if I go to the top bar a touch the area of the taskbar the rom becomes responsive and everything works, reboot and all is perfect with the rom. Its really weird.

I am using the new OSBuilder release and dumped the Stock USC rom as I have done rprior and built with PRB kitchens (RZ and OSKitchen). I am sure my package ordering is correct and building ok, and strangest thing is that after it becomes responsive it runs great even after reboots.

I had the same problem when using runcc/OEMDrivers from another ROM (think it was the same ROM you used). I moved back to the Sprint 2.04 ROM, and haven't had the problem. I never did figure out how I got a progress bar that looks like runcc when I left runcc out of the ROM.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

Just as an FYI, I read from one of DINIK's Tweets that it was Twitter who fixed the issue.

Anyone else got a small glitch in Sense landscape where the left 3rd of the screen scrolls at a slighty different rate than the other 2/3rds of the screen thus causing a small distortion when scrolling?

Also what about a position fix these days? I've been using e-natives position fix since my TP days when 6.5.X first came out. I've recently taken it out of the kitchen and I can't tell any difference. Is it still needed with the newer builds? Or is it the TP2 that makes it not necessary anymore? I don't use e-natives showcase either and to my knowledge there is no position fix being cooked in anywhere...

Or is it that Sense is different from old versions in this area?

What were you using enatives position fix for? If it's sense, then you don't need it as it has supported 6.5.x alignment for quite some time now. If you need a comm manager that does not have a gap at the top, get one from Oboe/Huashan. I haven't really noticed anything else that needs a position fix lately.

Why would you sort manually? :)

Use PreKitchen by tehpenguin at xda. I usually move all files/modules into the same folder, browse to that folder with prekitchen, and then have it sort it for EVK/OSKitchen/whatever template layout you want. It's a really nice tool and I use for many other things besides SYS. Being able to clone the layout of certain folders is handy.
